Is the downforce greater in the GT-R Academy than the regular V-Spec?

Call me lame, but after spending 4 hours trying and failing to gold License S2. I want to know if the prize car is any better than the GT-R that is in the dealership. So does it have greater downforce potential, ie after you buy the wings? Can you upgrade it to higher power than the dealership car?

I don't need to gold everything, since I already know I don't have the reaction time need to even bronze Vettel. I just want to know if the GTR Academy version is worth my time.

You can't add bodyparts to GTR Academy.
And c'mon, S licence is easy - just use them as brakes, they removed bump dq.

What is the front downforce on the GTR Academy?

And no S license is not easy to me. If I really push myself I can gold all of them but S2. What part of 4 hours on one stinking test, ie just S2, do you not understand?

Is that trial mountain? If so thats the one i got stuck on for a while, i found you need to take the Zonda on the last left hander before the final chicane. Using the other cars to bump off and overtake helps massively on this test.

Sorry not sure on the downforce.

u dont need to push that hard on that other 9 S licences, but u have to on that one.and IMO,dont bump other car as that'll slow u down+prevent u to overtake them.just use your brake as u dont have to slow down that much,it's the best i think.and if u still cant figure that out,try Youtube.lots of tutorial there are great :) GOOD LUCK!!

They are all fairly easy, but the one on suzuka is the hardest imo, don't know how many attempets I had :@

You can't add any aero parts to the Academy Version. So it has 0 downforce. :(

The car isn't really worth the effort. Just a normal Spec V with some Academy stickers on the doors and bonnet. I struggled with S2 for hours as well. Went round a mates and used his G27 and got it second go. :-)

Passing the tests depends on Driver skill.. Some are better than others. It's a fact.. and in answer to your question..

The GTR V-Spec has 2 on the front and 22 MAX rear for downforce. The front cannot be changed.

The GTR V-Spec Academy Car cannot be modified with Aerodynamic body Kits.

It's heavier than the normal GT-R as well because you cannot put a carbon bonnet on it =[

I only use it if I'm showing off my car collection, nothing more. Lions den tuning's predator tune works wonders on it though, just adjust the ride height and the roll bars to cope with the reduced downforce.

The GT Academy also has the stock tailpipe configuration all the time as well as unpaintable black wheels and opal black wing.

It's a looker though!

That one is a looker but the OP was referring to the 'normal' Academy GT-R that you win from golding the S licence tests. I'd kill to get the GT-R your photo shows... :-)
