Hi,
I just noticed that it cost me 500,000 cr to repair my Minolta's body and 170,000 cr for my 458 Italia....do i really have to pay for this? i barely crashed the cars at all and they only been to around 5 races. If i have to pay this amount of cash to repair all my cars, my 7 million will go down to nil soon...:nervous:

id say its worth it. just not so soon. not sure the mileage you should do it at but not for a good while you'd really have to do these things

As a guide, I rebuild my engines about every 5000km (3100mi) or before 24H. I change oil when I notice the power dropping in the garage. I would only restore body if I notice it handling weird.

Another sign the chassis needs a restore is if you get uneven tyre wear
Basicly, if it still handles ok don't bother, if it's doing weird things then restore it

Hi,
I ran a few tests when I first picked up my FGT. It's now run over 20,000 miles and 3 engine and chassis re-builds. I found that I could stretch both overhauls to roughly 10,000 miles. At this point BHP would have dropped by about 45-50 and the handling had deteriorated quite significantly. At 1 million a pop for the FGT and many others I figure it's best to hang on as long as you can!
