Juice, Juice, Juice... let me straigten you out here, pal.
(1) First of all, I think you tried to type "Is the Game Too Japanese?" (2) The most common question... why so Japanese? First of all, if the game was PURELY all-Japanese, then all the manufacturers from Europe and... oh yeah, America... would be completely pointless to race. If you ask me, this GT4 expanded the view of the world. Remember GT1? 11 car companies, and six of them were Japanese. Fast forward to GT4, and even though there are a lot of Japanese cars, it doesn't mean the game is Japanese. Like I've said in the past. Do you trust Codemasters to know about Japanese and American cars? Lot of Japanese tracks, Japanese Photo Mode locations... actually, I like Japan. My favorite track? Tokyo R246. Favorite race car? Nissan R92CP/2004 Pescarolo C60 (tie). The game is only too Japanese if you have little or no respect to Japan. I'd say get over it and not cry over spoiled milk, but it isn't "too Japanese." "Too Japanese" means that every other car is Japanese and offers very little in the way of the rest of the world of cars. (3) The broken record is playing again... Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini are the three brands people want to see in a Gran Turismo game. It's been this way for a while. Personally, I like those companies, but couldn't care less if they were in the game. I'm happy with RUF instead of Porsche. Gran Turismo wouldn't be any better if it had these makes. All that matters is the drive, the race, the win. That's all it EVER was about and for more than 7 or 8 years, that formula has worked. So why Forza has them? I have more information, but maybe in a future post. (4) The Roof Cam is actually pretty useful to me. You may not agree, but it really helps in rally racing, for example. It would take a while making all the cockpits. I'm sure PD wouldn't take the Pro Race Driver approach and give some one-size-fits-all cockpits. There are two in-car cockpits from what I've seen. One unique to traditional saloon cars, the other to GTP race cars. I don't think this would happen in GT4.
Class dismissed.
