I read on Wikipedia I think that the Honda Odyssey is the biggest car of GT4 and I was just wondering is this actually true. I brought it after I won some credits and it does seem on the large side, I took it around the ring in just over nine minutes an interesting car for sure.

The Tank Car is THE biggest in the game, engine, tourque, and wheelbase wise.

The Jay Leno Tank Car, The Auto Union V16 Type C Streamiline 1937, the Bentley Speed 8 Race Car, the Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie, the Plymouth Super Bird 1970, the Honda Odyssey and the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 2000 are the biggest cars of the game.

[off topic] DE your border is much better than mine :grumpy: , damn you 300 MPH madman. [/off topic]

I think they are all defaults Ill check later, if anything its just a bit lower, stiffer springs and negative front camber and positive rear. Ill take a look in like an hour.

Edit:
springs: 6.4/5.2
height: 133/133
bound and rebound are 8 all around
camber is 2 and 1
and stablilizers are 4

I might mess with it a little now that you got me started.

OK I think we've answered the OP's question.

We might wanna turn the settings conversation to the appropiate forum.

Those yes I do belive the Panoz Esperante LM car should be on that list as well...

Panoz Esperante GTR-1? Not particularly large. Certainly smaller than the TVR Speed 12, as it is much lower to the ground.

The biggest of the normal cars would be the RAM 1500. Customs be Jay Leno's Tank Car, Race cars, I'll take the Panoz.

Yes, it's a 4WD.
Maybe Ozzy. has it confused with the Renault Avantime which is also a minivan, but that one is FF drivetrain.

Bear in mind there may also be several models in real life, it's certainly possible to get 4WD minivans, the Chrysler Voyager / Dodge Caravan is certainly available in 4WD.

Actually my answer was based on a real life spec...I had no idea it was a 4WD in GT4 until I looked at the game guides.

Never seen an FR minivan. Have you?

Ford Aerostar and Chevrolet Astro have both been available in both FR and 4WD.

An FR minivan is a good choice if you need a minivan with high towing capacity. The Astro in particular has a 5400 lb. towing capacity.

We also need to bear in mind that this is the Japanese model Odyssey Absolute '03 which was available with FF or 4WD drivetrains. It looks different than the Odyssey model available in the US in 2003.

Notice how much steeper the rake angle of the front windscreen is on the US model, and also that the rear doors are very different from the Japanese model.

We have the same odessey in australia as they do in japan and it is not particullary big. The chrysler 300c is much longer and wider than it and not much lower. Our local comodore and falcon sedans which are in gt4 are also much wider and longer. Many mercedes in the game are also much longer and wider then the oddesey. Coludn't be bothered going on.

Anyway the styling of the odessey makes it look big but it really isn't.

Japan gets all the fricken cool cars.
That's because it made them all.

I'm now trying to think of a larger race car than the Panoz Esperante, the best idea I've had to far is the Tickford Falcon 2000 (or whatever it's known as these days, I'm not certain any more but you know the one I mean). That is certainly large, probably larger than the Panoz overall.

If by "largest" or "biggest" everyone is reffering to length, then I bet you are right. Although I guess you could argue that the Auto Union Steamliner was a race car of sorts, and its a good deal longer, by nearly 1,000mm. Also, if you include Rally race cars, then I think the Escudo is also longer than the Falcon XR8.

I was more referring to 'maximum possible volume', IE multiplying the maximum length by the maximum width by the maximum height. I know no car's actual volume comes anywhere near to this 'maximum volume' result, as it would have to be a flawless box to those measurements, but I think that gives us a fairly near impression of which cars are larger and which are not.
(This, of course, doesn't favour the extremely low-riding AU Type-C Streamliner :p)

In fact, GT4 even gives us this sum on the Car Specifications sheet. Unfortunately, volume isn't really an important measurement and so it's not given, likely because it's not at all easy to measure! We've got to work it out as best we can. :dopey:
