The question isn't if they're good cars or not, it's are they worth the price of admission. In other words, could you spend half as much and get a car that's just as fast and has more potential? For instance, the Viper SRT-10 is about as fast as the Ford GT, has more tuning potential, and is half the price, so why spend so much money on a Ford GT if you have limited funds? It's sort of "if you only have XXX money to spend, buy one of these instead of one of these".
Indeed, that is an excellent point.
I suppose my last post was based more on my interest in doing those cars justice, rather than addressing a "bang for the buck" sort of question.
However, one thing I think we need to look at is "desire."
As in, your desire to have that specific car.
For example, who would actually buy an Acura NSX with all those hondas in the game?
Maybe someone who specifically wants an "Acura" instead of a honda.
(I know they are the same thing lol)
Same goes for the Zonda...
The person who buys a zonda (with its amazingly high price) is buying the car for more than just a work-horse.
Chances are, anyone buying a zonda is buying it because they want to drive the V12 super car, not because they have a limited budget and need a great car.
Still... I admit, my post was not based on the topic at hand...
It was more like a knee-jerk reaction to seeing the Zonda on a "bad" list (all of them none the less).
Made me wonder if the zonda had a fair chance at being on the good list in the first place.
btw,
Zonda 7.3 584hp, 1212kg, 2.075 pwr
Oil change
Racing brakes
Semi racing suspension
Weight reduction stage 3
(nothing else)
Test on "The Ring"...
Sports Medium tires: 6'59.???
Super Soft Racing Tires: 6'29.5??
Not exactly great times but for a car with no availible spoiler I would say that's not too bad.

(not to mention the driver wasn't exactly the best)
