After testing out all the new cars, I have to say that the Scirocco is my favorite. I'm not a fan of FF cars, nor am I a fan of Volkswagen(JDM ftw...) but I have to say that this car is just amazing! All I had to do was tweak the suspension a bit and it felt like I opened pandora's box(not really).

After realizing that this car was basically a gift from the gods to me, I went online and to the Nordschliefe to have some fun against other cars. Apparently, my Scirocco was able to keep up with the 24hr GT-R racecar for a good couple of laps before I spun out(because of excitement:)).

So what do you guys think? Are you guys experiencing the same thing as me or do you think I'm a big flop and believe that the GT-86 and GT-R are much better?

No, every car has its good points. I like all the DLC cars, and a vast majority of the cars in GT5. I'm wasting all my money buying them all, modding them and racing as many as the mood hits me to try. GT5 really is a car nuts heaven. ;) Merry Christmas.

ice cream massage you say?

I haven't tried the Toyota 86 yet, but 1st thing I did when I got the DLC was driving the Scirocco and the Golf R around Nurburgring stock standard with comfort soft. The Scirocco managed to get to 250kmh at the straight while the Golf could only do 235-ish
The Golf feels easier to drive but the Scirocco seems more fun

The Scirocco is indeed a very nice piece of German machinery. Try the Schwarzwald League A Nurburgring GP/F race with a stock Scirocco. Very competitive, as long as you have the Opel Speedster or Speedster Turbo in the race. 👍

DLC is up in Australia? *Runs to PS3*

EDIT: Grrrr...

Took it on Suzuka for a few laps. Handles quite lively for a FWD. It is pretty keen to tuck the nose in on lifting off, but the car soon runs out of grip and you wash out...its a balancing act...but its more fun to drive than Golf R. I think they did a good job modeling the XDS system on the real VW, at least it seems to behave the same way as the real one I have on the GTI pulling out of a tight corner...

Oddly, bone stock, both of the VWs have very little grip and really plow if you dont left-foot brake them. I think most of that is the CS tires though. Really happy to have them though.

The Scirocco is alot of fun. Was doing laps for a while lastnight on Leguna Seca with the OEM setup. Then I got caught up in buying cars fromt he used dealer and putting wheels on them for photoshoots

It is a very beautiful car indeed. I've been a huge fan of the original Scirocco and the Corrado, so this is very welcome. With the Golf, I rather stay with the boring MK4 which I love so much for some strange reason.

Scirocco R is FF, Golf R is mostly FF until slip is detected and power is directed to rear wheels.

Now lets add these two to GT6...

... and the cycle will be completed. I know I missed the mk2 Scirocco, but I find the first one to be sexier.

VW scirocco is also not able to get aero parts from GT Auto. Cursor just moves back to the bottom when you try to go to the menu.

Mine has them....the mini doesn't though.

Ah, the Corrado....I love that car. I was in high school when it released...dad has a particular hatred for VW and porshe....he calls them pushes.

Is it me or is it a bit dark in this car's cockpit? I'm not talking about the dashboard. It's as if the windows have been tinted from the inside
