will do good for bob or even me in the 'like the wind' oval race?

more importantly for bob as im over half way to lvl 23 on B and i want to unlock the endurance races before i start to lose interest as the new content for black ops should be out tonight, so going to start playing that again...

i say this event due to it being oval and quicker to do like...

Add me as a friend, I'll then share my minolta race car, Audi R10 and the X2010, one of those should ease the pain, in return a matte or chrome chip would be nice ;-) PSN is Mr_brookenstein I also remote race,

Gillet Vertigo about 900.000Cr.
I won "like the wind" with it to get the minolta

You win the Furai, or you can buy and racemod a ZR-1 for well under a million. Or just have a friend set something to share, it can be over a million.

cheers for reply.. oh and to the first poster, thanks for the offer, but no thanks, i got nothing to offer and dont want to get caught up in the trade and rather own my own :), may add you still...

hmm interesting, i will look out for thoses cars 👍...

as for the furai, i already won that and thought id try it, but no chance in hell, the only car ive used that was able to keep me 11th rather than dead last was a caddy cein concept thing which i added available mods and kept a huge gap between me and 12th, but still so far out its depth...

That's weird, I won that race without an issue using the Furai in A-Spec.

Race mod ZR1 is a cake walk with a good tune. Never have to brake and typically stay over 200 even through the corners. You can use the car later for the American championship as well.

As mentioned above, race mod the ZR1 and look up one of the tuning set ups, should be able to win and will be well under 1,000,000

well i dont know what id need to do to that furai as i was left for dead lol...

i went and brought the ZR1 and RM'd it and added racing softs plus every other mod available and with tweaks of the downforce and tamper with the gears for 245mph + and after few attempts i managed to get a 6th place finish, without the slipstream its going to be tough...

but one thing i have done and makes bits of my first post more irrelevant now is the lvl 23 american championship on same track which my ZR1 blitz with ease and noticing that pays more, ill start running that to get lvl 25 B spec(got to lvl 24 not too long ago) and also keep blitzing it will reek me loads of mulla and get me to lvl 30 which im almost there with..

hopefully i can use one of the cars i currently own like the 2 mentioned and acomplish 'like the wind' indy track without forking millions on a race car :sly:

For Furai to win, upgrade a stage 3 turbo, crank your transmission up to 249mph, maximise the downforce, draft on straight line and most importantly try not to brake & or hit wall.

The AI brakes and normally slows down to below 170 mph in the corner, catch the chance and make your move. Do not hit wall on exit otherwise you'll bite dust in straights.

The ZR1 with RM should be able to win without drafting at all. Look up the setup for Indy on here and use that. You shouldn't have to let off the accelerator ever so you blow past the competition when they brake for the corners.

ive got all available mods for the furai, but not touched the downforce and thing ive got it set to over 230mph, so unless it was the downforce, once they shot off from the start i couldnt get anywhere near them..

my one problem with the vette is the braking and hitting the wall :dopey:, sometimes cant go round the bend as tight as id like... i will try and find that tune for it and see where i get...

Yea with the right tune you shouldn't have to brake ever. Maybe let off for a second if you are a tad off line but you should still win by a large margin without a problem.

I tried Veyron & Pagani Zonda R to beat it with, never suceeded, got the Furai, crikey, done on first try. You need to be a bit tactical on the last lap; let them catch you before the second last corner, and finish the race strong by overtaking all of them at the last corner so that they don't have enough time to re-accelerate causing you having to block. If you were forced to block them, chances are two machines came side by side and you block 1 of them, the other one comes through and nick the title.
