Is there a way to delete a car

I have the same problem - I have the game on my GO and a UMD for one of my regular PSPs. I bought the car twice on the same save though.

I dont think there is a way to delete cars.

BUT you can take them off of your favorites list.

All you can do is remove it from your Favorites list.

I think that only shows up If you try and buy the Car in the Same Colour.

You can't get rid of cars. Just wait til GT5 comes out, transfer your car collection over and hopefully you can sell any unwanteds for some bucks.

This only works if the car is tradable. The only way to get rid of extra cars is if it's they are tradable.

You'll get duplicates when someone shares a car that you already bought.
There's no warning when someone shares their 700+ car list.

I received some shareable duplicates over the ad-hoc party. I found Jpn version, US version and Euro version of the same car may have slightly different name.

Your wrong if you resive shared cars it will only give you what you don't have already in your list. So if someone shares 700 cars to you and you have 100 already you'll only resive 600 from the share.

You can delete cars*. Just go to the save data utility on your psp, enter it and look for the Gran Turismo save data, delete it and you should have deleted only one car. Good Luck.


*Please Note: Using this mehod to delete a car may result in all your other cars being lost.

Funny how they didn't implement this into the game, surely it can't be hard to add a delete function can it?

I now avoid getting duplicates of Shared Cars because I never buy them permanently.

I buy all available cars on PSP1, share them to PSP2, reset PSP1 (no autosave), and then share them back. So I get all my shareable cars for free. Every now-and-then while going quickly I accidentally duplicate a colour and car, but it doesn't matter now, because it will go away after the reset anyway. (So if you set autosave off, and you accidentally duplicate a car, one option might be to go back to your most recent save if you notice in time).

Regarding getting duplicate cars by share, that's not true, but you can get duplicate cars by trade, and with little (no?) warning.

Shareable cars for free. Tradeable cars for the cost of the most convenient cheap Tradeable around.

The inablility to sell is one of my biggest pet-peeves with GTPSP. Sure it doesn't harm the game in any way, but I'm now getting into a habit of checking the car count a million times before buying .
