why do you want a car with 0 miles/kms anyway? Its just plain stupid. You wanna put it in your Gran Tusimo garage and watch it whole day? You know this game is made for racing cars.
In real life you cant get a car with miles on it to 0.

Cause some people only willing to trade for cars with 0 miles, It just makes the car better or something, plus its really rare to find some cars with 0 miles eg UCD cars, and cars that you can only win once.

Reverse? In some old cars if you went reverse you would lower you mileage.
There's no way to this in GT5 I think.

I know someone who used to do that in real life. They'd borrow a company vehicle that they shouldn't then when they got it back they'd jack up one of the driven wheels and leave it in reverse for a couple of hours with a brick on the pedal. It worked. :)

I think resetting the miles is a silly idea, and thankfully it's not possible. Doesn't make sense.
However, I would like to know what exactly happens with an engine rebuild. Is it just taken apart, all parts cleaned/oiled, any worn parts replaced etc? Or is the engine just replaced with a new one (considering the astronomical cost of some)? In the latter instance a mileage reset wouldn't be too ridiculous a suggestion...

I don't think there needs to be a mileag reset. What I do think they need is a mileage indicator for maintanence. becuase with many of my used cars, i can't tell if the engine or chasis needs overhaul or how many miles I've driven it since. They need to work on this. However restting the miles to zero is a bad idea. Its illegal in reality, lets leave this one out.

:grumpy:
I was gonna make a joke about driving it in reverse. You beat me to it. You totally Barkered that for me.

The reason I thought about having a reset to 0 possibility would be to make it easier to see what standard cars I'd actually driven.

I realised that "Changes" is about as good as indicator as you will get.
