Is there a way to restart with our having to do the license tests?

I wanted to make a new profile and re do all of the races after I'm finished with my first, but I don't want to have to redo the license tests. Is there a way to copy it to start a new game without having to do them?

But you're going to have to play all the races to get money to buy different cars.
Why don't you just replay the races and get more money to buy more cars?
Because I have a bunch of them already, all of the ones I wanted.

You could sell them if you don't want them, saves you some time having to get the cash again too.
But I would like to have them for online play. All of my race cars I would like to keep on a second profile, and just make a new one with the licenses already done. I think what I'll do is make a new profile, and not worry about getting gold on all the licenses, most of the cars are just crap to sell anyway. Goodwood has some nice rewards, and so does the red Bull challenge, but the licenses and most of the races don't.

You mean you want to copy an "all gold" save to your profile!?

Because what you're saying doesn't really make much sense.

Yeah. I guess what I was really asking is are the license test data stored separately, so that I could copy them, but not race data and cars.

There's a long answer and a short answer.
The long one is; no you can't!

You could make a backup of the save data to a thumbdrive and then sell all your cars.
That way you'd have one save with some cars and one save with other cars.
When you want to switch save you'd backup the new save to a separate thumbdrive, delete it from your PS3 and import the old save data again.

I'm probably just going to go with what I said above, and just not worry about all golds on licenses. If I want the car, it can't be that long of a grind.
