Cant figure it out. Tried searching. Tried saving replay file on to usb but the format is unreadable. Pls help, thank you

Nvm. A google search yielded i need a capture card.

No.

Was an asked for feature in GT5, but PD came out and said it wasn't possible in the end because of the PS3's 256mb ram wouldn't be able to cope with the encoding requirements of any length of replay.

Maybe PS4/GT7 will do the business....

No maybe about it. PS4 does this by default.

You have Gt7 on the PS4?

Or is there an in built YouTube exporter that will output anything on screen to a YouTube video?

The 'Share' button.

But on PS4 you can only livestream the video or upload to Facebook. Video file can't be transfered to USB stick or to Youtube. :(

You can download the facebook video if it's you'rs, but I'm pretty sure they get badly compressed.

Not everybody uses facebook.

PS4 allows you to upload gameplay to FB or save the video to your PS4, GT6 sadly doesn't have the record feature.

PS3 can Technically take live video but at 240p , GT5 and 6 can't be played in 240p the screen gets cut off .

The replay file isn't a video of your lap etc., it's simply raw code that is recreated (or run)in real time by the game engine when you play the replay. So the only program capable of converting your replay file to a viewable video is Gran Turismo.
