can i use a birthday ticket more than once until i find the car i want??

I would guess that once you have the ticket, save your game, then select the ticket, and when you get the animation of the car approaching you and you don't want the car, quit the game and reload. Your ticket will hopefully still be there and not cashed in. This won't work if the saving message or HD indicator flash once you've cashed in the ticket or when you see the little sequence though, but i'm *guessing* it will only save afterwards. Can anoyone else confirm?

Also back up your save first if you are trying this! I still wouldn't recommend quitting out whilst it's saving though.

Save your GT5 Game File on USB or SD ... (Just above your trophy)
If your looking for trade-able car.
Get 7 or 17 birthday tickets 1997.
Lets pretend I want a Supra RZ
Open every tickets until a Supra is gifted.
Send your Supra RZ to an alternate account
Load your GT5 Save Files from the USB to get your 7 or 17 bday '97 back.

You just need to send it back tomorrow or to a friend who dont mind to send it back to you.

You have to save your game data to a flash drive. Then you use the ticket and if you don't get what you want, quit the game and overwrite your game data on your PS3 with what is on the flash drive. Hopefully that made sense and helped. Also, you can do this with any ticket.

This makes sense, an alternative (and perhaps safer) method to mine, though I suggested backing up too just in case!

Drevenger, i'm sure you were trying to help but I really didn't understand your instructions "Get 7 or 17 birthday tickets 1997...Open every tickets until a Supra is gifted" when all you have done so far is saved to USB? Also Ryman's method doesn't require using a second account.

Anyways hopefully the OP has enough ideas to work on now :)

I did mine with a secondary account on the same PS3. Get a ticket - birthday, 1000, level, etc. - send it to my second account, save that to backup drive, then every day I send my main account a free gift of some ticket or other (along with 5 paint chips and 5 tuning items, of course). No grinding of tickets necessary, you get to keep everything you get, and you have a reason to log into your second account every day. Or not - you don't have to. And once you've sent a bunch of tickets and paints over the days, you reload your saved data from the USB drive and start doing it again.

thanks to all! this just helped me score a Mark IV!!
