I just delete them when I get them. Although, if #112 is the loudest, I might save that one and dupe a bunch for some online fun with my PSN friends. ;)

I have heard rumors of special horns that sound like sirens or something, but I've never had any conclusive evidence other than that. I just know that the two-pitch horn on a lot of the older Italian cars (Miura, Countach) is pretty sought after.
Out of my 50 horns, 085, 003, 111, 127, 094, 013, 067, 170, 273, and 268 sound different or unique.

Lambo Countach. Sounds great. I forget the number. I've gone through all 200, and there is only about 10 or 15 good ones worth having.

If you go through and listen, there are some pretty wimpy sounding horns.

I like to take one of those wimpy *meep-meep* horns and put it on a really fast car, or an old muscle car. Just any car that you wouldn't expect to hear that type of horn on.

Think of something like a Geo Metro horn on a Dodge Ram... lol

Horns are absolutely useless to me in GT5. I had so many that I started deleting them. I am also beginning to hate on the paints and gears as well.

My favorite horn i have is the jay leno tank car's horn, all my friends have me send them to them. It is pretty funny to hear a big or small car with it.

The Enzo's horn sounds a lot more like something I'd expect to hear on a big American pickup truck than than a little Italian sports car. No idea what number it is though. It's one of the better ones I've heard in the game.

Anyone knows which number the VW Samba Bus horn is? I want to put it on the VW 1200 released as DLC, since the horn it has sounds nothing like the one real VWs had.

Just go over to the marketplace ant post that you have gear and horns to give away and you will get several responses from people who are collecting, that is what I did with my suits and helmets a while back and had them all gone in a day. Biggest waste of space in the game in my opinion.

Many stock horns are too quiet and/or innaccurate to the car
You can't put a horn on a racing car, maybe for the best.
Even if you really like the idea of collecting and using them, this seems a pretty useless way to do it. They add nothing for me.

I listened to a few horns once, just to check them out. Never again have I done anything with them. I'm so used to ignoring the message about getting them, that I don't even remember when you are awarded them. I know I get paint and museum cards when I log in. Oh yeah, museum cards...

I must abmit one thing though, that these horns are usually good for catching someones attention. When NOT using a mic (like me), it attends to be fun when HONK HONK HONKING at other players. But yeah, just wanted to say that...

Anyone seen the Lost Boys? That's the horn I want.

Hehe classic movie, which funny enough I watched last night. I know the horn sound you mean, the one on grandpa's jeep/truck. It's La Cucaracha (spelling is probably wrong)

I'd like the Big Top circus tune as a horn. Just for when passing people that have gone off the track lol

Out of my head the Countach Horns are great and Horns number 008 and 009 too.
The rest is almost forgetable.
Might check number 112 if it´s that good.

I'll answer my own question. The VW Samba Bus horn is Number 253, and is the most close to the real VW horns used in most of their old models if anyone wants their cars to be as accurate as possible.
