I was homeschooled for most of elementry school. Somewhat was forced into public school after my mother's death. Regardless, I had some social awkwardness to say the least.
Rather good at doing math and science, but was poor at reading cause it was never forced at me. Of course, I've becomely extremely well rounded to say the least.
I would recommend you spend some time with groups and stuff, that are your age. It will make social interactions much easier later in life. Yes, people are assholes, but you learn to just ignore most of it. And beyond high school, most people are very reasonable. But still, learn to be comfortable interacting with people.
Being home schooled, if your parents do an okay job, will make you ahead academically for sure. Schools have a tendency to limit students that excel in certain fields, public schools more so.
