i would like to know as well because thier is some awsome traks on it

WOW, took a week for a reply. Anyway I might try work out a way if no one else knows how to.

As far as I know, no. If you had some sort of TV Tuner you might be able to record them using your sound-card using the in-game jukebox, however.

no...

it also says its illegal too lol..oddly?

Why should it be Illegal? We payed the full amount for the game so I should think we can use it how we see fit...

...thats what i was thinking lol
thats what makes no since

if it says that.. then there must be SOME way

yeh ill
probably end up trying to record the music off the game but it would be good to get a hack to get into the files of the disc to get the songs out

:dunce: doh!

Yeah but you'll never get the best Quality unless we extract it somehow.

It's illegal because there is a soundtrack you can buy :dunce: GO BUY THE CD. Or if you don't have $20 to spend and are compleatly broke, download the songs off of websites :banghead:

Downloading the songs off the net is also Illegal.

When did I say it wasn't? I never said anything about how getting stuff illegally is ohh so soo horrible, and beg and plead you not to. I was just telling them why it says it's illegal.

I have been able to extract (music) from earlyer Gran Turismo games and also Final Fantasy X & X-2, but need some sleep before il start investigating it.

Cheers.

OMG, just try to think.

Pick the song´s name and search on kazaa or emule.

:D

Yeah but you still don't know what kind of Quality your going to get. And Kazaa Sucks.

yes you do know what quality you are going to get. you don't have to use kazaa, and I don't even know why I'm participating in this conversation.

You can try using Total Recorder to copy the songs as mp3 files. Total recorder works kinda like an old tape recorder (if you're old enough to have used one before... I have): you have to have the PS2 sound connected to your computer at the input side, then press record and pause at the computer, then right before a song starts you have to release record in the computer. When the song ends you have to press stop in the computer.

Total recorder records any sound events going through your sound card, so if your computer has any background sound effects (dings, beeps, etc) it will record that with the song too.

It also works for recording streamed audio (online radio stations...). Although I am not a lawyer I could bet money that recording either music from your GT4 game or from streamed radio is illegal.

If you really want to listen to GT4's music you should buy the soundtrack (it must be available somewhere...).

Total Recorder can be found here: Total Recorder

or you could just right click the link in my sig and download it ;) please let me know if it becomes unable for download tho . enjoy

all the songs are crap except Jimmy Eat World - Nothing Wrong and Franz Ferdinand - Michael!

although i prefer dance/trance music thats the only good songs there is.

Closed.

Too much discussion of illegal software.
