It would be nice to be able to make this littlel itty-bitty box you have to enter your posting in bigger, as part of your user profile/options.

No way to do that?

Are you referring to the post box on the new reply page, or the express reply box in threads?

I meant in the new reply page.

Parenthetically, I'm not entirely sure what the following box is for....

<!-- thread options links --> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" bgcolor="#6F6C64" align="center"> <tr> <td> <table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F0F0E9" align="center"> <font class="sf"> <img src="/i/f/printer.gif" alt="" border="0" align="absmiddle"> <a href="printthread.php?threadid=17551"> Show Printable Version</a> | <img src="/i/f/sendtofriend.gif" alt="" border="0" align="absmiddle"> <a href="sendtofriend.php?threadid=17551"> Email this Page</a> | <img src="/i/f/subscribe.gif" alt="" border="0" align="absmiddle"> <a href="member2.php?action=addsubscription&threadid=17551"> Subscribe to this Thread</a> </font> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> <!-- /thread options links -->

:D

Drat... You have HTML off, don't you. :( :banghead:

But i.e. I'm not sure what that box at the bottom of each page is for. Hmm. Guess no-one will complain if I test it here.

Oh wow, that's almost too easy, isn't it.

The horizontal spacing of this express box is better, but it could do with about three more vertical lines...

Ah. It's a Netscape thing. (Netscape 7 -- absolutely hopeless with older Netscape).

The reply box on the new reply page is a reasonable size in IE...

Oh well.

(This reply was posted mostly to login. Hmm. I suppose I could have used "My GTPlanet"...)

Ah. That "express reply" in the background of this box does not show up if you use Netscape, either.

On the other hand, Netscape gets one extra input line in this here express reply box...
