Is This A Existing Cheat:

Extra 787B: Go To Simulation Mode, Win Easy And Normal, Then Go Into Professonal Mode. Win The "Like The Wind" Race, And You Will Get A 787B. Then It States That You Completed 75% Of The Game, Therefore Getting Another 787B.

So... Is It A Cheat?
 
Of COURSE it's not a piggin' cheat.

You get a Mazda 787B for winning Like the Wind. You get a Mazda 787B for completing 75% of the game. What's the problem?

Go To The Suzuki Dealer. Buy Two Escudos. Bingo!


Do you see? It's not a cheat, or a tip, or anything. It's not even interesting - why would you want to get two 787Bs at exactly the same time anyway?
 
I'm gonna have to go ahead and agree that it's obviously not a cheat, you're just given a chance to own two of them. I picked up mine at the same time (Like The Wind brought me to 75%) and while I was surprised to get two 787B's, I quickly figured out why I did.

And for history's sake, this is my 1000th post! :dopey:

Why would you want 2 of any car?

Well,
Since not everyone on this board has an xport I would imagine that collecting as many 787s as possible would be a good idea.

One to run races with (and ruin in the process due to thousands of miles)
another to have as a 0 mile free run super car?

Or one to sell and one to keep?
(non-xporters can use all the budget help they can get ;) )

Any way,
don't let these fellas get to you carlover.
There is nothing wrong with getting 2 versions of the 787b.
(especially since it is one of the best cars in the game).

Enjoy both of them. :D

Just for the record though, it is not a cheat or a trick or anything.
It is nothing more than a great system the game designers used to make sure all of us get the chance to keep atleast one 787b.
(I mean, it is a prize car you can't buy as well as one of the best cars in the game!)

PS: I do still need that 787B since I've not done 'Like the Wind' or hit 75% yet.
 
It's like in my first game after I beat the F1 championship. I won an F1 car for winning the championship, completing Sim Mode, getting 100% and and for winning all the races in the game. I won four at one time. It was just coincidence.
 
I did that too, but I was careful to make sure it would happen that way.

what's wrong with having two cars anyways?
sometimes i have 2 of the same cars for some reason
1) grip/racing
2) drift

That is probably the funniest thing I have ever read on a forum.
 
I do have 2 787B's. It's a goog thing because when you use one alot and the engine loses power over time, I've got another one to use! :)

if you dont have an Xport/Sharkport/maxdrive, etc, keep the one with 0miles and just clone it by buying it from yourself

sure, it costs money, but you will always have a new one - and you can sell the one with the high miles to fund a quarter of it

I only found that out the other day. It's a good thing to have. (I just haven't got enough money to do it all the time)

Two of one car is a "good thing". You can even buy them out of your OWN garage. But for what possible reason would you want to engineer the game so that you get two 787Bs simultaneously? At 75% completion? You've only got, by the method described in this "cheat", bits of the Endurance races and Professional Mode left...
 
Face it guys. Famine is gonna own each and every person who doesn't see things his way. I'll be right here ready to laugh.

Engineering the game so you purchase cars from your own garage, in order to use that loop hole, is not a cheat. It's you being a cheat.

I wouldn't engineer it, it just kinda happened to me.

But when you're here, can I request an update of Famine's Fun Fact of the Week? As impressive as the male earwig's penii are (and I've seen 'em first hand - what an exciting day that was!), I suspect you're past due for an update! :)
