that seems like a pretty good comp for 499 doesnt it? but i dont know. ive seen the same thing for more. and whats this dimension thing that dell uses? btw, im just asking this because im shopping for a new comp.

You would be right, my friend. Most Dells come with PCI slots.

I suggest upgrading that RAM to 512mb. And upgrading the HD to an 80 gig. That's just me though. It depends on what you are doing.

If it's for gaming, this one probably won't be of any use to you. Not without an AGP port for you to install a graphics card sometime down the road.

i just found the same thing at best buy except with 120 hard drive and 2.1gb. but it doesnt have a disk drive. which i need to get all my cad files on it.
