You will want to keep an eye out on the memory bus the higher the better(think of it as lanes of traffic the more their are the smoother the traffic flows and do not be fooled by memory size), but card is only DX10, unlike that DX11 one.

What are you going to be using it for?

Simple gaming, HD movies and videos and pictures.

The games I'm into are like Civilization V and the like. I'm not into that hard-core gaming, FPS stuff.

It should be sufficient.

Here's some benchmarks for the 425M. Not the same GPU, but the 525M is its successor and should have similar (if not better) performance.

It's able to play just about any modern game. Maybe not at the highest graphics settings, but it'll be playable.

Civilization V is rather intense at times on DX10 mode, but that card should be fine for simple gaming and HD movies

What was your score?
Mine is 1487.2

My CPU fails compeared to the i7, but it can still put up a good fight with it being overclocked, my old 9800GTX beats your 3D performance but the 525M is not bad, it is an entry level GT500 card, but in the test you can see that the 2D is lower than the 3D which is what i was talking about.

And i know the memory will beat my systems memory in performance without seeing the test results
