I Have a G25 and a racing seat but due to girlfriend complaints of what she calls "an eyesore in front of the TV in the living room", i'm having to sell it all :( I have noticed that using a pad instead of a wheel, that my lap times are up to three seconds slower.

That must be technique or i would have some world records with a G25. I usually use 4 seconds from World Record as a sort of marker and I use sixaxis. Although the GT LM is a real challenge.

Well certainly in Pro mode with Sports tyres, and driving the high powered MR cars, I find it is much easier to control rear end spin out when using a wheel, as opposed to a pad.

Yes Pro was what i was talking about. The only reason I can find to use Standard Mode is to make quick money. I didn't buy a Simulator game to play it in a non sim mode.

I understood that you were refering to Pro mode, I was just stating my personal opinion between a wheel and a pad.

I tend to hold my G25 steering wheel really tight, so after a couple hours, my fingers/hands are sore. hahah good workout thought.

Tell her to get over it. If she won't she's not worth it anyways. Where's your backbone at? Please don't tell me it's in her purse. Don't let a woman walk all over you, it's just not worth it! :ouch: There is more than one woman in the world! We used to dominate women, now they dominate us! WHY?! *shakes head disparingly* Am I the only one who understands that a woman shouldn't be allowed to boss you around like that just because you have something she doesn't like? What about your opinion in the matter, it's your seat after all.

Inspirational speech over.

Thanks for the advise Dad ;) i'll tell her what for when she gets back from her friends house 👍

You know what women are like as much as I do dude. As soon as I start ranting on her, i'll be on her pay no mind list when it comes to bedroom play, if you get my drift :)

No, don't rant, be calm and collected, be nice about it, use a soft tone. Just try this one, if you tell her that you don't want to sell it, and she gives you some garbage, like do you love it more than you love me? Say this do you want it gone more than you want me around? Just leave it at that, don't give her an answer, just see what she says, and if her answer is yes, then ditch her. You can be happy for an hour with bedroom play, but be miserable for the rest of your life, because you no longer have a say, because she's holding your chain, and it won't be your life anymore, it'll be hers. Not worth it if you ask me. Oh and if you think this kind of attitude will leave you single, it won't trust me ;) I am married after all. Did you ever see School of Rock? Everyone who has probably just thought the same thing as they read that (the guys girlfriend in the movie walked all over him all the time, and he had no life thanks to her).

We both have a give and take attitude between us. She is a wonderfull woman and I see her point of view. I suppose i'll just have to go and buy another TV for the spare room and set it all up in there.

Ok, this doesn't sound like just a girl-friend, this is a she's living with you girlfriend eh? Then the give and take attitude is perfect. That's how it is between me and my wife, I understand her point of view, I listen and take it into account, then we try to compromise, if we can't compromise, well then, usually I get the last say (but not always). Anyways, sounds like you have things figured out between the two of you, so I will stop being off topic in this thread.

Am I the only MAN who doesn't want a big chair in front of my TV?

No I don't either. That's why I don't have one and just use my Logitech Driving force, and haven't gotten a new wheel, because I'll have to find something to mount the wheel on, because I don't think I'll be able to hold a G25 with my legs.
