Probably not the solution but you never know.

Check the Two-Step Verification setting.

Same thing keeps happening to me too, it's seriously frustrating! Sometimes I can fill the captcha in, other times I can't, & even if I fill it in it glitches out (see 2nd pic).

@Jordan

I still get this every once in a while and the last time I got it was on an old no longer usable computer. This time it's on a month old computer so I doubt it's a comp issue and I actually have my password for this site only hard saved so I don't have to type it in when I log on. I'm curious if the two step verification effects that too? I also noticed when I click to go back to the log in screen and then hit log in again it doesn't show the verification. In other words I essentially see it pop up everyone once in a while but it can be overridden. Is that suppose to be the case?
I attached the most recent time this has happened, thanks for your help.

2-factor authentication would not trigger that unless you were very fast at entering your verification code, but it could. Otherwise, I cannot explain why you would see it frequently — the threshold is high enough that no legitimate user should ever be affected by it, yet you do.

I have made some adjustments so it should have less of an impact on you.

Been getting this the past few months everytime I try to embed a Tweet. Not sure whether it's something to do with my connection or not?

No, that's part of our security/firewall software.

It's not related to your connection, but embedding a tweet should not trigger it (I've embedded many tweets but have never seen that occur). Let me know if it continues happening for you.

(I've embedded many tweets but have never seen that occur)

I never used to have a problem embedding Tweets either. For some reason it won't let me do it anymore. :boggled:

Tried embedding something from Flickr but that trips the "one more step" thing as well.

Hmm. What OS/browser are you using?

Can you embed an example tweet to a reply here which causes the issue to occur for you?

Chrome. Version 71.0.3578.98.
Can you embed an example tweet to a reply here which causes the issue to occur for you?

Like this? (Apologies not quite sure what you mean)

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en-gb"><p lang="und" dir="ltr"> <a href="https://t.co/DPMPXx6ZQ4">https://t.co/DPMPXx6ZQ4</a></p>&mdash; Jordan (@Jumpman23) <a href="">17 January 2019</a></blockquote>
<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Ah, if that's how you try to embed tweets I can definitely see why that's triggering the firewall. You don't need all that extra markup, just paste a link to the tweet by itself and GTP does the rest.

So, you'd just paste the link to that tweet, like this:

https://twitter.com/Jumpman23/status/1085966727425314817

And the tweet should appear like this, without any security checks or extra markup:
