Is your car in GT7 and if so, do you reckon you drive it more in the game or real life? How does it compare in terms of handling etc?

Focus RS mk3, trackday often in real life.
the car is really more forgiveness in real life, you can control slip angle more easy in real than GT7.
Going to SPA francorchamps in 10 days, so i can compare real life vs gt7.
what i already know, in real life i really try to avoid the track limits (tire dont'like it, risk of suspension broke etc...).

i've seen some videos on YT there +/- 5 secs between gt7 and real life depend on track.

why wan't to compare ? the break point are evolving in reality, i don't want to broke my real car, the tires, break pads cost an arm so i try to preserve it in real life etc...

GT7 is a game (really good game for me and i love it so much), try to be near a simulator (tracks and physics seems good), but really far from reality (it's not a critic), i've played online recently (last time must be on PS3 maybe ? don't remember) and with a good wheel you can have race thrill etc...

None of my cars are in GT7, closest is the 992 Turbo S/GT3RS, I have a 992 Carrera T manual.

Nope, none of our current cars are in GT7.

It looks like a 2010 Camaro SS was in GT5 and GT6, so that's the closest to my 2015 SS Vert (still a fifth gen), but isn't in GT7.

I have a Volvo 240 in exactly the same engine/trim/gearbox as the model in GT7. Only difference is mine has blue seats which means it's much cooler.

I haven't tried the 240 in-game since 1.71's physics changes, but before that update, the 240 was extremely tail-happy and unstable. In my real 240 you can plant the throttle on a sharp turn in 2nd gear and you won't get any wheelspin or oversteer. Perks of having no power and a chassis tuned for understeer.

I also have a 2007 Suzuki Swift Sport but I haven't noticed anything in the GT7 car that's unexpected compared to my limited experiences. Feels a lot faster in reality though :D

Two of my cars are varying degrees of close, but neither are exact matches.

Closest is probably my 2026 Hyundai Elantra N-Line, the Elantra N's little brother  GT7 definitely helped influence that choice, although I chose the lower trim for more practical reasons (i.e. gas mileage, cost). Still really fun to drive, though, and makes my morning/evening commutes a little more enjoyable.

Next closest is my 2014 Honda CR-V (pre-facelift), but it may as well be a completely different car compared to the one in the game, considering they're 7 years (and 1 generation) apart.

My ‘98 Mazda MX-5 NB(I’ve got the base 5-speed 1.8L 140hp model, not the exact 6-speed 1.8L 143hp+/- RS) is in the datamine. Just waiting and hoping it is added between this December and next December.

I've got a Model 3 Dual Motor, and you can use the power restrictor to pull the Performance down from 510bhp to the 349bhp that they claim the UK model has.

I say the number they claim, as on my registration document, the output is rated at the KW equivalent of 469hp.

No exact match, closest is the 997 GT3. To me the rear engine bias and pendulum effect is greatly exaggerated in the game.

CX-30 in place of my 2018 CX-9 is good enough for me :D

At least it has less roll, but the CX-9 has a lot more grunt
