Anybody willing to do the Qualifier in the next hour? I'll be online so let me know via psn (tony1311) and i'll open a room.

If you're hosting a room regardless, I'll come in there to practice. I'm not gonna qualify until I can do 58s all the time, every time. :sly:

Just a reminder that the deadline for qualifying is this Sunday, the 24th.

I'm opening a room for Round 1 practice and possibly to hold some qualifiers if anyone wants to.

Room title: ISC Qualifier (Grand Valley is the track, if you need me to post the room number let me know).

I will do my qualifier Thursday on the 21st of April in the evening if that fit any of the capable hosts/stewards.

Please let me know about the time in which you want to qualify. I have a race on 20.00 GMT so anytime before 17.00 GMT will work for me.

When does your race end? I might make it before 17 GMT (BST?). Don't know yet.

I'm not able to connect to the PSN... It's been like this for 10 hours at least! So I guess I won't be able to do my quali to day. In a way, it's positive since I really need some more practice. But on the other hand, practice is at the moment also impossible. :grumpy:

Well this is unfortunate.. I have not been able to put some time in in the last weeks because I was studying for my final's / finishing my projects etc.. (btw i am done with school so i am a free man and i can now be called an engineer !)

And with easter this weekend, I though I would be able to qualify before leaving to see my familly. But PSN was offlline yesterday and its still is.. Now I have to leave even if I have not done my qualification.

So I am asking you guys to wait for me before closing the registration.. I will be back home in a week (thursday of friday of next week) to do my qualification. I understand that this is far away from the dead line and i would also understand if you guys close the registration.

I still hope ill be able to be part of this, most certainly, epic series !

JP

Hopefully psn is up before qualifying is closed, I'd love to give this a go.

I've decided to extend the qualifying deadline until the following Sunday, the 31st. With PSN down and Easter Sunday this weekend, I figure a lot of people won't have much time to get around to running their qualifier (if it's even possible with the PSN issues).

I think i was running low 53's or 52's the other day ,running with Jett, maybe he remembers better.

I'm sure you must have been in the low 52's T (at least on a fresh set of tires) :)

what times were u running with the Corvette??

My best so far was a 1'51.8xx IIRC, with a not too stellar (tidy) of a lap. I'm really happy with the set-up I have though :sly:

If you say so.. :)

Only thing i remember for sure is that tires played a huge role, even between 1st and 2nd hotlap if i'm not mistaken.

As for my set-up i have to say i'm happy too, even though it's not too sophisticated (yet :sly:) .:indiff:

Anyone else wants to share his laptimes?

Very true. For me it seemed like it was best to take it easy on the outlap and then on the first flyer go for it. After the first flyer (on the 2nd flying lap) it seems like the tires would begin to fall off slightly half way through the lap or so. So basically in qualifying your window to set a pole lap will be very small before having to slap on some fresh rubber.

As we know, in the race it will be more important to conserve the tires and be precise, rather than pushing balls to the wall for those extra couple of tenths, only to burn your tires off a couple of laps too early.

i did 53.9, but with only 5 laps, i found the zr1 more difficult to drive in comparison with the sls even with sports soft, so that lap wasnt perfect, anyways lot of work to do with the setup if i want to get closer to that 51.8

Oh yeah, I remember perfectly. At first you had 53.3 posted as a fastest time, and right when I was feeling fast, I thought I beat it by doing a 53 flat, only to find you did a 52.3 right before, haha.

nvm

At this point the talent in the A-spec A.I drivers is making me cry :( . How can something be so terrible?

That's why I've been tuning my cars lower, so I can actually work for my win. 👍

I'd like to give this a shot, but I'll need some improvement apperantly, my fastest time running laps on my own with a stock SLS has only been 2:00.781 :dunce:

So today is the qualifying deadline and only 7 people have done it.

As you could see, a lot of us were gonna practice leading up to today but PSN obviously thought differently than our plans.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic but Outlaw pushed back the deadline a week.

Mo'-practice-fo'-me!

Wow, I'm really not on my game tonight. :dunce: Completely forgot PSN was down, and missed the deadline being pushed back. Don't mind me. :ouch::dunce::ouch:

So psn is back and we should resume with the qualifiers. Anybody willing to try send me or The Outlaw a PM.
