It all depends. If every team wants a different car then they get those cars as otherwise it would be unfair. If there is a clash then every team gets a random car...

So you guys like the Camaro?

Also it would be cool if people would make their drivers have team suits!

We could then do a wall of pictures...

Oh mate I'm already picking out colours to match a suit design for team KDR (Knukkle Down Racing) :)

So two teams so far?

I was wondering if Seth and Analogassassin would like to partner up as you both have the same time zone? It would probably help you guys test! Just a thought looking at the time zones

Oh I forgot to confirm my timezone. I'm in GMT and tell me more about the teams since I've missed out on quite a bit on this thread.

I want to drive the Subaru STC so if anyone wants to join me their more than welcome.

Okay so the teams are quite simple.

Join up with someone (or I'll suggest those that work time zone-wise) who you like racing. If each team wants a different car, you'll get the car you like. If you have a car you can customise, make sure you run the same colour and if you change set the numbers sequentially (like F1) or a pattern (so like 20 and 40)...

Then during races you both score points which go towards the championship, and you add together your ballast and both cars run the combined ballast in the next race. So if ran 60KG (2nd and 4th) in the race before and then finished 5th and 6th, you'd run only 35KG next race.

Potential Team Details (May Edit)

TEAM KDR (Knukkle Down Racing)

LimeGreenTeamKDR.jpg

Driver #88: Knukken (Norway)
C.R.A.P Race Organiser

Driver #86: Kolin32K (United Kingdom)
Novice Series Racer

Colour: Lime Green (May change)
Suit: (See Picture, may change)

The team name reflects our approach. Knukken wishes to tune the cars and give me advice/pointers into on-line racing and this will be my first series in GT5. Also it's worth mentioning that we may not be racing often at the same time due to RL engagements.

Well, all I know is what I want to drive. That's either the NSX, FTO or RX7 in no particular order.

Yeah I am in agreement with that if Seth is.

Just note here guys; My displayed PSN is not the one I will be using for this series, I will be using my main PSN which is AnalogAssassin.

Might be running tonight from around 21:00 GMT. So if anyone is around then it would great to run together!

No baby tonight so I am in, just added your PSN a minute ago, as well as Seth.

If he and I end up running together, I am leaning on the NSX I believe.

Would either of you compromise as I think pairing you two would be only way either of you would get sufficient testing with a team.

Has everyone been enjoying the cars? Any feedback?

Also I'm thinking of using a race control system as for the races I will disable mics. What I will do is invite you all to a text chat through PSN and I will give instructions through that system, leaving the in game chat free for discussion

Okay Seth, I will pull out the FD then, same color scheme as my NSX; that is my standard colors as it is what I use in the WRS.

Plux- I have not had an op to try out any with your limits, but I am gong to tune the FD TC now so I will let you know what I think. Also, count me in for tonight unless my ex calls and wants to do my tattoo today, but I might still make it back home in time either way.

That was a GREAT test session fellas. I don't think there will be too much changes needed as this is VERY close between the 4 cars tonight. 👍

Even if we have a car run away on the first race of the pair it will balance back out with the winners ballast added.

As I mentioned, some chassis/engine combos will have advantages on certain track layouts, but that will be a back and forth volley from course to course, and again, with ballast added to faster cars it will be balanced back out.

More then anything tire selection is going to bey key and following right after will be when you come in to pit.

To give those that missed the test tonight I will give you this advice, qualify and start on Hard tires.

Pit strategy is going to play such a major role and those that keep that factor in mind are probably going to fair better then those that throw it out the window in favor of a faster qualifying time.

Glad to meet those that joined this evening and look forward to tomorrow....if my son will allow me to join that is ;)

I love how I can take flatout the last S turn and the first set of turns till the tunnel at Trial Mountain with the FTO. 👍

Seth - I think I am going to run reverse color scheme then what I posted.

Plux - can teams run the same colors just flopped from one another?

I don't wanna run those colors, but whatever! I didn't realize you were doing a test session yesterday, I would have joined in after 90s FIA.

Just a quick reminder to all, test starts tonight at 19 GMT and will run until half 1 GMT. Come join us!!!

What color combo are you thinking, I can compromise brother :)

my son is being pretty rowdy but I am gonna try to make at least part of testing today...see you in a bit.

Twas a good test last night!

I don't have any complaints about my car nor the event thus far.

What I would only suggest, for now anyway, is a 1 minute start and max end delay on the races when it comes to series time

Yes I'm aware I mentioned a 1 min start last night and decide to launch at go after a lapse of short term memory loss :P

Sorry I couldn't stick around yesterday, got tired quickly, but that NSX handles like a VW combi van after 30 laps, don't know why, going to look at the OP and find something else,

Has Kev (Knukken) got a team mate?
