US coverage of the event will start tonight on Velocity at 10pm EDT.

Seeing as not a lot of Americans see this sort of action, quite honestly, I'm excited for the race. To those who watch it, what are some things to look out for?

Aren't they still doing practice sessions?

But yeah I am super excited!

I recall watching some tv coverage last year but I don't think any of it was live and was prerecorded and edited down to not take up much time.

They had practice and qualifying all last week, and the racing kicked off yesterday and will continue for a week (Superbike, Supersport, Superstock, Sidecars etc).

Interesting superbike result with McGuinness copping a 60 second penalty for speeding in the pitlane and dropping out of contention and then setting the lap record at an average speed of 131.68mph on the second last lap!

Dunlop has been on fire this week, 4 out of 4.
Too bad he won't do the Lightweight race, says that he's focusing on the Senior.

McGuinness said that Dunlop went by him like he was stopped and just took off.

Too bad the race isn't broadcast over here. :(

Multiple spectators injured in a crash today, at least one rider killed every year. Really can't understand how this dangerous event is still running.

Well it is the greatest race in the world, the riders know the risks they are taking, same with the spectators.

As long as people will come to the island, there will be a race.

Listening to the senior right now! XD

They nearly have so many times. At least it's not a forced Grand Prix round these days.

I know it's up to the riders and spectators if they want to do it and put their lives on the line but I just can't think of any other sporting event where deaths and/or serious injury in every single event is acceptable.

If you actually think about it, their is a chance of you dying, if you do anything. I see where you are coming from, but it's an incredibly prestigious event, which is what a lot of the riders spend their year thinking about. The deaths aren't accepted, they really make the riders think.

Who said anything about it being acceptable; you obviously have no understanding of what makes the Isle of Man TT, the Isle of Man TT.

It is miraculous that the spectator crash led to no fatalities. Bray Hill is one of the fastest parts of the track. Very relieved it's not more serious 👍

Congrats to Dunlop for getting 4 wins this week - an incredible achievement, and to the Morecambe Missile, John McGuinness for notching his 20th!

Oh my god, that is the first time I've heard a racing version of the 675 at full pitch, GLORIOUS!!!

(Sounds a bit like the old Honda 6's.)

Watch at least till 2:00, that pretty much sums up why people do it, and why it is my life goal to race there.
