Well, that is a CD image. You need a burning program to burn it to a CD. Nero does it, i believe. Just choose "Burn from CD Image" and chose the .iso file. You now run the program off the CD.

Or, I believe with WinISO, you can open up the ISO and extract the contents.

NOTE: This advice is for legal use ONLY! Don't go all illegal on me! GTP is not the place to discuss illegal activites.

Daemon tools is an awesome program for mounting .iso files. It act's as a normal cd-rom, allowing you to run the .iso (cd image) as if it were a cd in your cd-rom. I highly suggest it if you're going to be dealing with .iso's alot, or just too lazy to find a cd to burn like I am in most cases.

An ISO is a CD image. Think of it as an physical CD you can hold in your hand, only it's stored on your harddrive and instead of being a CD, it's a file with a .iso extension. They usually contain a 1:1 copy of an original CD, containing the same file structure and files as the original so you can just burn it and have all the files from the original (in the same structure) on another disc.

You have two ways of going about ISOs. You can simply just burn them to a disc and insert it into your CD drive, or "mount" them. Mounting works by tricking Windows into thinking you have another CD/DVD drive (so if you have 1 CD/DVD drive, Windows will think you have a second one as well). You can then load ISOs onto this virtual CD/DVD drive and access the ISO as if it were a real CD. To do this, go grab a copy of Daemon Tools.
