Issue within a thread on IOS app

I've noticed reasonable recently, for threads with multiple page numbers, that when you click the ... to get to a specific page number, the number keypad comes up but you are unable to type anything in, and have to jump out of the app and back in again as there is no way to escape the keypad. Couldn't find mention of it in any other threads about the IOS app. Thought this might be a bug.
 
I've just tried it again in the biking thread, the 2011/12 Premiership thread and some A-Spec seasonal one in the seasonal sub-forum. Refuses to work on any of them and I've had to exit the app each time. So I don't think it's specific.
 
Is your IPod latest generation, because mine isn't, that might be a factor, I think mine is 3rd generation.
 
Mine is latest generation, yes. Are you on iOS5.1 (the latest one) and the latest version of the GTP app?
 
I'm on 4.2.1 and the latest version of the GTP app. Ok, so tried again and it worked as it does for you. But within the same thread 20 seconds later, it broke again. Now I'm thoroughly confused.

Try updating your iOS to 5.1 and see if it works.
 
Ah unfortunately that's impossible with my current situation at the moment and for the foreseeable future. Indeed, I couldn't update even before the pc broke. Maybe it's just my old IOS acting up. The problem specifically is the box to enter the numbers balloons up and then just is massive in the middle of the screen and stays there, instead of resolving into an enterable textbox. Maybe I might just have to live with it if you guys are fine on the latest version.
 
Yeah, this is likely an iOS 4 specific bug. The ForumRunner platform on which GTPlanet's app is built will likely not resolve any bugs in older iOS versions moving forward, so I encourage you to upgrade to iOS 5.1 when you can.

If that's not possible with your PC, I would encourage you to take your device to your local Apple Store (I see there's one in your city). They will most likely be able to upgrade it free of charge for you in a few minutes.

I got my iPod a couple of weeks ago and as my Broadband connection is too slow, I took it to my local apple store, they upgraded it to 5.1 and gave me a free iTunes gift card.

I have another problem with this app using on IPhone 4S and Ipod 4G both are on IOS 5.1: When I open an big thread like and want to go to the OP it gets stuck and shuts itself off but it won't ever work, for example: GTP reputation thread.
Further it's an really nice and easy app:tup:
