Issues with gifting from subaccount

Hi, I apologize if this was answered already, I just created a subaccount born in year 2010 but for some reason I am not able to gift the ticket to my main account.

When i goto "items" and press triangle on the gift ticket, the "give to friend" option is greyed out..

Any advice on this?

Have you traded on your other account? It is only one trade per PS3 per day :)

Just try again tomorrow.
 
i hav gifted someone yesterday, but don't think it has been 24 hours yet.. hmm i'll wait and try again later, thank you.

I thought it would still let me select that option but will only deny me when i hit confirm or something. oh well
 
I couldn't tell you how it works mate, I've not really traded since the update as I haven't been on GT5 much.

All I know is what I said above :)
 
The last update prevented doing trades from sub accounts, it checks the account for the same IP address. I don't think you will be able to do it.

I had this problem too, well, in my case I had no friends on my friend list yet...
don't forget to send a friend request to your main account and make sure you are online!

Uhh, wrong. You can trade from sub accounts, but are only allowed 1 trade per day, per console. They appear to be using something other than ip addys to identify each console.

lol.. let me try this again at GMT reset and let you guys know.. and yup i do hav my main as frds on my subs!
 
illustratedrick is correct. I traded a car from my main account to a second account on the same PS3 yesterday evening.
 
Yeah, you can trade between accounts. I just did a trade from my GTP to main account.
 
im having the same problem getting a car from my 2nd account. do i have to be a certain lvl in a spec to gift? lololz
 
Not sure what you've done so far regarding setting up both you Main Account and your Sub Account. If you are trying to gift to your Sub Account two things have to be in place. First your Sub Account has to be on your Main Accounts "Friends List" and vice versa is you're going to gift from you Sub Account to your Main Account. The other thing is that both your Sub Account and your Main Account have to have a Garage. If your Sub Account does not have a Garage, even if it is a Friend to your Main Account, it will not show up in your list of giftee's since it does not have a Garage to recieve the gift. Load up your Sub Account and buy a car which now creates your Garage. Exit, load your Main Account and then go and try to gift the car to your Sub Account. You should be able to select it now.
