...It looks like a computer store threw up on my bed...

Someone suggested I post this here... so I figured I would. :P Tried to clean off my desk yesterday. Moved most of the computer parts off of it and onto my bed...

Here's a thumbnail (click for full version):

And, to make this somewhat more interesting... cookies for anyone who can guess how many video cards were on there to +/- 2 cards, to guess what CPUs are in the dual Socket 7 board, to guess how much RAM is in the dual socket 7 board, and the first person to find:

-a pentium 2 CPU
-a GeForce FX 5800 Ultra
- a G4 logic board/cpu/ram (they're all together)
-2 dual p4 xeon boards
-2 AT boards
-2 power supplies

Holy crap! I don't think I've ever seen that much computer hardware in such a small area in my life!

And I'm pretty sure I've found 2 PSUs. A Grey one on the leftmost corner (easy to see), and a small black one on the rightmost corner.

The sad part is that that's not nearly all of it either. That's off part of my desk. I've still got more stuff on the rest of my desk, the parts in the systems, various empty cases, and a 2 car garage that's 1/4 full of my computer parts.

As for the PSes... you've certainly got one of them... not sure about the other. Did you mean this thing? It's small, black, and in the rightmost corner...

...but it's not a power supply.

Damn, that's a lot of computer hardware there.

I guess that there are 28 video cards?
One of the PSU are on the left of the picture right below the window, while the other one is on the right side of the picture underneath a bunch of boards, and a motherboard right in front of it (like if you split the picture down horizontally into forths, it will be right between the right most and second right most quadrant.

Woot, this is like "Where's Waldo", which i haven't played in such a long time.

28 cards is closer, btw, but not within +/-2

And actually, most of the stuff i wanna get rid of is in the garage :P 99.9% of that is stuff i'm keeping.

I see like 4 Voodoo 5 5500s there or something. Then there's the 5800 Ultra, and then 2 Voodoo1 and a Voodoo 2 as well? I know that there's def a original Voodoo cause it has 2 processors on it, and V2 had 3 on it.

Blah.

The Slot 1 is to the right of the Q-Tip box. Screw the ATs, I still can't see them, unless they're in the anti-static bags.

there's 5 V5 5500s total, the 5800u, and a whole crapload of Voodoo 1s, 2s, Banshees, Voodoo 3s, (including several V3 3500 TVs), PCI and AGP V4 4500s and some other oddball cards... a few 3DLabs cards, a TNT or TNT2 with VIVO and a RAGE 128 with VIVO as well. Also a R9800XT buried in there somewhere (not sure if you can see it in the pic).

//edit
Oh, and my 6800GT is in there too in an A/S bag. No heatsink on it or anything and it's probably buried under a whole bunch of stuff. borrowed my VF700CU from it to use on my 9600 Pro.

Yep that's what I was looking at. What is it if it's not a small PSU?

I see really nothing that is too useful anymore.... that would make one great wallpaper. Just start nailing them around the walls of your room. :D

Hm. My e-mail notifications disappeared for a few days o_O

Regardless, yes, the black object is a case fan. an 80x32mm one.

toyomatt: Depends on what you're using it for and what you expect out of it. *personally* I've got a Dell Inspiron XPS laptop with a 2.8 or 3.4GHz Prescott P4 (the 3.4 was stock, I put the 2.8 in it to reduce heat a bit, but I can swap the 3.4 back in should I want to) and a mobile Radeon X800SE (aka the Radeon 9800 mobility), as well as a dual P4 Xeon system with a 6800GT should I want to do something that needs a lot of processing power.

The crap on my bed in that pic is part of my collection of toys. Stuff like a 733MHz Quicksilver G4 in a Digital Audio logic board that's been beaten into submitting to running on mostly PC hardware (e.g. flashed PC graphics card, PC optical drives, PC power supply, etc.), an Abit BP6 i440BX dual PPGA Celeron board, an Asus P2B-D rev. 1.06 i440BX dual slot 1 board which can be modified to run tualatins and which will hit a 150MHz FSB with some mods, better NB cooling, and a suitably robust set of PCI/AGP cards. Also the dual socket 7 board, a dual socket 5 board which is getting 2 133MHz or 150MHz Pentiums, etc.

Just a bunch of old stuff that's fun to screw around with. :)
