Italian Avant Garde question

well just an hour ago i got the zonda race car...havent tried it yet...looks promising though won it via All Japan GT championchip:D

The Rome Endurance isn't really that bad. The Griffith is always the fastest car, and he always finishes 73 laps in about 120min 35sec. So, every time except the first time, I just parked the F094/S at the start and did something else for 37 min, then played catch-up. You just do 73 laps then stop and cross the finish line when the timer hits 120'00. Doesn't take nearly as long that way.

You'll like the Zonda Race Car, it a very solid car for the class it would be competing in. But it's somewhat unfair considering it has a good amount more power than any of the other cars in the GTS class in the game (at least in stock form, and even upgraded it still does). But it is definitely the best looking Zonda in the game . . . it doesn't have the goofy arse mirrors that the road car has.

It'd work fine, but you probably want to do 73 laps at the beginning to see how long it takes you, then just park on the right side of the track in front of the finish line (the AI cars stay on the left).

oh, its so good i mean without the upgrades with the setup i got going on it it can handle n/a stage 1 @ like 900 horsepower and i creamed the italian avant garde:D
 
I told you the car would own. It handles great without the power upgrades. I don't know if the setup I have at the moment is solid enough for the power upgrades or not. I haven't really tried it with the upgrades, but I guess I'll have to try it out. What do you think about the looks of the car?
 
looks ok,

except the goddy wing...anyway if you go gtvault.com and look for novaSS setup it will handle NA stage one if you do that and put regular slicks (t3's i think) youll be able to own the italian avant garde
 
Yeah, I don't care for any of NovaSS's settings. I've tried them and they don't fit my style of driving. I haven't said mine don't handle the more power because I don't know if it will or not. I haven't tried. The wing on the Race Car is better than that on the C12S . . . why would you have a split wing like that? Plus the Race Car is for functionality, so you can't really bash it too much for that.

I've got the Japanese version of GT3. Can't you race against them in the other versions?

No because they aren't in the other versions of the game. They are still in the American version, but you have to have a Gameshark or Sharkport to get it in your game. The car isn't even in the PAL version of GT3.

Well that really kinda sucks. Just for my knowledge I ask this. What race(s) do you win the Nomad Diablo in the Japanese version?
 
Buy a C12s, tune it up a little bit, and you're done! You might have to pit earlier, but after all you're faster, because they pit in too, you know. :D

I'd kinda like to know this too...

I'll bet the Diablo was supposed to be the 4th car you could win at the Laguna Seca Endurance. It's really strange seeing only 3 cars rotating around when you win.

I'd like to know this too, mainly because I just bought the Japanese version of GT3 a few days ago (for a bargin price of £5 how could i not?). I used to have an old prize car list that was from the Japanese version. But it doesn't seem to be on Gamefaqs anymore. Although if you watch the Japanese intro you will see the bits that they cut out of the American and Pal version because of the Diablo.

Edit: Well according to this site, you can win it at the PRO JGTC cup.

OK, it looks like the difference in the Japanes version, then, is:

Pro All Japan GT: can get Diablo instead of Zonda Race Car

Mistral Endurance: can get Diablo instead of Zonda Race Car

The Zonda Race Car, then, in the Japanese version can only be won from the Italian Avant Garde and from the Rome Endurance.
 
So what was meant to be that third car again? I think it was meant to be an Fxxx/x in the American version wasn't it?

No, I've got the American version, and there are only 3 cars spinning at the end of the Laguna Seca endurance.

All of the endurance races have one F1 car you can win, and Laguna Seca already has the F686/M, Altezza LM and Calsonic Skyline.
 
Its sucks that the AI Sucks, lol. Pretty sad that 3 cars are spinning at laguna. :lol:
