Hello GTP,

I am kind of new to GT, and I find it hard to win the Italian Avant Garde in the Professional league. I tried it with a Zonda C12S fully tuned. But it's me versus 5x Zonda race cars, and I can't seem to win.

Wich car do you suggest to win ? Zonda C12 or Zonda C12S? And how tuned? Cause at the moment, my Zonda C12S is TERRIBLE at steering, even with super soft tires. And he eats my tires badly, after 6 laps I have full red tires wich means I'm dead. But if I pit I won't be able to catch up the others.
I know nothing about cars, but can I make my zonda steer better if I change the settings of the car a bit? If so, wich settings should I change? Thanks in advance.

My first language is not English so sorry if you don't understand what I am asking.

Hehehe, well guess your not the only one whose original language isn't English!:)

Okay to answer your question, you can't really win the race with the Zonde normal car, you actually need a Zonda Race Car, cause I tried everything with the two other type of car, but I coulnd't win.

Well I don't actually remember where to win it, maybe you could check on the forum for how to win the Zonda Race car.(In the guides.)

Check the 'My Zonda Steers Like A Cow' thread, in the GT3 Settings and Tuning forum. There is something wrong with the suspension, I think, and the thread covers that very well.

Edit: Off-topic, but 'Steer' and 'Cow' in the same title? What a gas!

You most definitely do NOT need a Zonda racecar to win. In fact, you don't even need a full-build C12S. Here's how I ran it:

Medium slicks (T4)
Race suspension
Sport brakes with balancer
NA 1 power tuning - 682 hp
Engine balancing
Chip
Full race transmission
Full customize LSD
Triple clutch and race flywheel
Lightweight Stage 1

That was good enough for a +15 second victory at Rome (where they pit) and +3 seconds at Rome Reverse (where they don't pit). I qualified at the Reverse race, but I started from the back at the regular race.

The thread mentioned above has a good discussion of adjusting and driving the Zonda, so I won't repeat it here. But I did want to say that you absolutely do not need the race car.

Why on earth are you using super-soft tires in the PRO LEAGUE? Of course your tires won't last. But this is a difficult race...follow Duke's advice and let is know if it helps. 👍

Keep on practising and eventually you'll get there with one of the two non race-Zondas. Havent played any GT-game for quite a while but remember this event as one of the more satisfying ones. The Zonda isn't easy to lap quick but on the other hand, an enjoyable drive when you get braking and lines correct.

I'm going to try that, might be easier in a way!
