It's a good job real car sprayers aren't like GT5's spray shop!

no, thank you for yours, since we have a general section this can be posted in. This certainly doesn't belong in Q&A since you yourself admitted this is neither or.

Click on the 'Gran Turismo 5' up top, and from there, scroll down and POOF!!! A general section for useless stuff related to GT5.

Maybe you should move to the General Section then.

XPOWER - don't worry about that guy giving you a hard time, all the premium forum members (the red guys) seem to think they are wannabee moderators.

These are the only two posts you have in this thread.. you've supplied no info or help whatsoever, and are trying to come across as sympathetic to someone who clearly posted in the wrong section.

When asked what the QUESTION was in a thread that started in the QUESTION and ANSWERS forum, this was the reply,

What? Their is no question.

My bad for pointing out facts and trying to help keep the Q&A forum limited to threads of just that, questions and answers.
Was this thread informative? Yes.
Was the thread in the wrong sub-forum? Yes
Was all that I did was inform the OP it was in the wrong sub-forum? Yes
Was I a dick about it? You betcha. Holding hands is for children.
Does that change the fact it was still in the wrong forum? Not one bit.
So what's the issue here?
You call me a wannabe moderator because I'm a premium member. How noble of you.
Yes I payed for a membership for a site I am active in, please forgive me for trying to pick up the trash in my backyard.

OP, I'm sorry this got so off topic, it's amazing how we lose sight of what's right in front of our face.

No worries, just hope you do realise though that i never had the options you presented so it wasn't that i was being dumb or anything ! I've since changed my browser from IE to Google Chrome and i can now access the area you suggested :)

Good to hear! No hard feelings, alright sir?

That's fine with me 👍

Decided on a new car for the paint job, just waiting for the paints to arrive and then i'll see if PD's garage wants to do something to it other than what i have in mind :indiff:

It better not be a Mercedes 300SL. Wheels can not be changed nor painted :grumpy:. The wheels stay in whatever colour you bought the car, so pick carefully and don't be fooled by the stylish looking light blue, it'll leave you with some wheels that don't match with any paintjob.

No, deafinatly not a Merc' ! Will remember to save my game before i even buy the car, let alone spray it! Going for the Citroen GT road car (not the electric version). I think it's harsh angles will suit the look i'm trying to achieve :)

Worse is the Kubelwagen/Schimmwaggen since the wheels including the spare are body color. The main wheels get color matched, but the spare stays the original color. I thought it would be fun to paint my Kubel bright red, come to find out that the spare stayed dark green.

No, we just point out the stupidity of people such as yourself to the moderators. All of us 'wannabe moderators' just sit together and laugh at your varying levels of patheticness. :sly: That level seems pretty high for you considering you can't spell wannabe. ;)

Oh dear, i was hoping all this was over. Was their really any need to open up old wounds ?

Anyway, back to MY subject ! I saved my game and bought the Citroen GT but just like the previously mentioned Merc', the wheels can't be changed. So after restoring my save and trawling through the dealerships i settled on a Gallardo and did the paint job. Looks rather good, not quite how i hoped but it'll do!

Would be interested to hear of other peoples experiance with strange spray shop happenings :)

That would do my head in, i wouldn't mind it if you could change the interior colour manualy but it seems odd that it makes that decision for you !

Ford GT '06 bought from the NCD in white (no stripes).. decided I would pimp it out and go gold chrome painted it and after the spray booth it came out with black stripes under the chrome gold! Is actually quite cool.

You do realize that "patheticness" is not even a word?

I bought an S2000 from the UCD. Supposed to be 'Ascari Red Pearl'.

It's a kind of soft pink. Like they accidentally diluted the paint.

Actually really like it...
