It's a real torture to race in tracks like St. Croix type A

I mean I think Mulsanne through to the chicanes is just a unique and superb piece of road/race track if I'm honest. If you can take the entry into Indianapolis well and the Porsche/Karting curves at high speed you gain a lot of time - We'll have to agree to disagree.
Some of it is definitely me, I don't do well with undefined apexes, either because it takes creativity or it is a bit flat and I cannot make a call on when to turn in. Not a fan of Grand Valley, St Croix and Big Willow for example. The last sector of LeMans, as I enter the Porsche Kerbs, i'm totally lost, have zero reference point for turn in, it all looks the same to me. But that's a me thing.

Opposite applies to more rigid tracks, I am fire at NGP or Barcelona for example.

Most hated track in the game.

That’s alright, Circuit de Sainte-Croix…

…I love you.

The problem I have with Le Mans is that the area around the start and finish of the track is pretty flat and has a lot of different tarmac paths connecting to or running alongside the main track, so I have a tough time navigating it in bumper cam without occasionally taking a wrong turn.

Le Mans start/finish section has the highest gradient change on the whole circuit - other than the little hump before mulsanne corner the rest of the track is pretty flat!

This track grew on me, especially the variant used in the Super Formula races.

The scenery is bland (except the bridge) so the track looks lifeless and has the added bonus of initially making the upcoming corners hard to read.

I too used to hate it but the more I race, even the A variant, it feels kinda good but I get the sentiment here.

Here's something I think will apply to many of those who don't like it:

There's "a thing" where if you don't like a track, you tend to avoid it, thereby not improving your familiarity or pace thereon.

If you "force" yourself to learn it, it becomes ever-more-satisfying and your appreciation of it grows.

A track you hate can become a track you love. Kinda like people, now that I think about it.

Regards Dragon Trail, I really like the 'harbour' section, but I can't help but feel this was only added since they can no longer fake it with Cote D'Azur.

Yeah it reeks of Monaco, I’ve always thought this. I like it though

Peeps complain about how tricky Monaco is, but imagine if it had the Dragon Trail curbs that throw you across that narrow track into Barry R.
