Its been fun, but my blu ray laser is fried on my ps3.

I'm going to try everything i can to get a new one as soon as possible.

My ps3 committed suicide and won't play anything but non blu ray movies and cds.

hope to get back on the track soon.
 
They are pretty easy to replace on your own. Just buy a second hand PS3, and switch it out.
 
Yeah, I plan in doing so as soon as i get money.

Have an interview at one if my my liqour stores in town, woohoo lol, so i will be off for a couple weeks


I feel like I lost a good friend lol, I just hope my backup save will be ok
 
Happened to me once. Easy enough to fix on your own cost me 50 pound for a new drive though.

All you got to do is Google it..find a video that will show you how to open it. Then once you take it apart, you will see the blue ray, you will also see a code for that blue ray lens. Just get that code and buy with that code. is like K20a something bro. Then replace it your self is very easy bro for real...👍 Maybe less than $40.00
 
Yeah, i should be getting my tax check soon.
I saved a vid on how to do it earlier.

I was up from 8pm that night until 10am,this morning messing with it
 
And you should still be able to go on your ps3 and load your save onto a USB. Hard drive still seems fine.
 
Yeah, i got it saved. Will i still be able to use it if i get a new ps3? In case it isn't the laser.

Oh thank the lord. I would have hated to have to redo all my tunes.

Look through you're cars and imagine the hours you've spent on them. Makes you immediately save the game lol

Playstation plus 👍 Besides it just expired. I have to remember it...

My buddy is supposed to let me have his broken ps3 for the drive, i just haven't been able to get ahold of him.
He said its pretty much fried, so im hoping the bluray drive isn't toast
 
Cleaned the bluray drive.
Got it to work a bit actually.

loss most if my games, but at the moment it keeps freezing gt5.

any suggestions?
