I bought it for GT5 which i cant play until i fix my ps3 which will take like a month.

I had the same happen to me, again and again for 3 times right after buying a G25. Just get it replaced quickly so you get it quicker.

Did you try washing the disc first? Wash it with very mild soap and warm (not hot) water. Dry it off with lint free cloth.

Try other discs? Do they all freeze up? If so, have you tried a Blu-ray disc lens cleaning disc?

I'd try all that first, before sending it in.

I would say it is the drive. Buy a new one or get it replaced, remember to back the hard drive up.

^^, you pointless people, no help whatsoever.

EDIT: Except solid.

Yes i tried cleaning the disks and i tried all of them and it just stayed there and did nothing. Havent tried the cleaning disk thing yet but i have to get one tomorrow

Yeah try a DVD cleaning disk (for the drive)... after that fails then your most likely going to have to try the system restore menus or call Sony. If its under warranty I would do the later.

Robin.
