I really though it would have been yesterday.

I thought so too, but now I'm starting to wonder if we'll get a "surprise! GT7P in 6 months!" type announcement, and a Jedi mind-trick "GT6 never happened" effort from PD. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

We got the last update at the end of January, so we're getting this one at the end of this month. When the calendar turns March 1st, that is the time to break out cartwheels and 360's on the floor.

Until then, here is a bunny with a pancake on its head~

Any bets on something dropping with the seasonals in a few hours?

have to say this new aspect of GT gameplay - the suspense and peril of an update is new. Not sure I like the wait. But I really liked the FT1, the VGTAMGRacer.

And if you've been good little players Santa Kaz will put a present underneath the tree in your fireproof stocking. (But only after he has had a drink of Apricot Hills Brandy and a Mince Pie.)

Next morning a suspiciously large 28km long present is waiting. (I have no idea when anything will drop along by the way. I really don't.)

I don't know what to think  A week from today we all are going to be waiting for the March update because February's update won't bring anything interesting in the long term...

The next opportunity I can see an update coming is Thursday Morning since that is when Seasonal Events are updated.

It looks like it's PD's last chance. This update is basically a make it or break it situation. Don't screw up Polyphony Digital.

I'm hoping we get the Mercedes VGT Convertible with the new update. If not I'm going to send my copy back to PD.

Actually in all seriousness I'll be happy with whatever we get. I can hope and pray for things to come only to be disappointed when the don't show up. I think PD will hold true to what they have said and release at least the track by the end of the month. Anything else is a bonus and I'll appreciate whatever they give us. I've given up complaining as it doesn't get us anywhere.

PD most likely knows we're unhappy, but it's up to them to change that; which it appears they think everything is fine. Perhaps next time someone is part of a Q&A with Kaz or anyone from PD, they could ask why they don't share more information with us. It would be great if they would give us more of an idea of what they are working on; and as it nears completion, and idea of when we can expect to see the content.

While it is unlikely that we'll ever see the day PD gives us more insight into what they are working on for whatever the current game is, we can always hope that they'll change their ways.

well, Seasonals are coming in roughly 2 hours, update very likely coming with them, we'll wait and see (pity I won't be home for another 6 hours...)

I'm speculating with this much anticipation that we will see this thread turn into another 55 page nightmare where the thread was locked...... Please mods make that message be known now that we don't need every four second updates from every GTP member...

But if we do get an update, I do want to see an actual update addressing the user found issues, and if we get any vehicle DLC, I don't want the scapegoat to be another VGT car and that be the whole months release...

There will be no update today, just an update of seasonal events.

No official statement has been made on the official Gran Turismo website.

He may have been a bad interpretation of the words of Mr. Kazunori Yamauchi?

Maybe he has meant that we should know more in February on the update coming?

It is impossible for a new track appears in the game without having previously made about him on the official site, it would be surprising.

I think there will be a statement on the official site before the launch of the content.

Updated seasonal events Thursday has nothing to do with the updates of the game, if it fell at the same time, it would be pure coincidence.

The last 1.03 update was announced on the eve of its release on the official Gran Turismo website, yet the content was very light.

Do not imagine falling out of nowhere a huge update with what is more, a new track.

Expect an official statement and be patient.

Sincerely,
Anthony.
