Track days are next to non-existent around here, unfortunately. This thing will mainly see action for the legal street drags, which means that most of the strains will be put on the drivetrain, and not the body.

Red, Silver and black are too common, I want something that'll stand out but that won't look gaudy or tacky.

Right now, as it stands, it's a tie between Nissan's burnt orange (found on the Sentra SE-Rs), Honda's Championship White (Type-R's), Mazda's Titanium silver (like on the RX8 and a bunch of others), and whatever blue I'll find cool enough.

How about baby blue like my brothers friend's car.

Just one thing, forget about yellow. Or baby blue and neon green.

:p

Nice ricemobile your friend has, by the way. 👍

His brother's friend. You know, just like this guy my neighbor's third cousin knows.

I take back what I said about flat black. I really think Championship White would look niiiiiiice on there. Or just strip all the paint and save weight!

You'll be running 1320 feet in 8 seconds.

In that case, it has to be like beige, with one dented and primered fender.
Nothing like a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Seriously though, How about that Orange that Nissan is putting on the Murano these days?

But it has mesh in the bumper, white wheels and ****ed up headlights. Oh, and it has a hideous color.

The fact it has that bodykit, the chicken wire, the "projector" headlights, the painted calipers/drums and the monster tach make it a ricemobile. :p

That's pretty much the same color they're putting on the Sentra, I think. It's close to copper in some lightings, which is really cool.

I have the S2000, this thing's my money pit/weekend racer. :) It should see a lot more action this summer, if it stays together, at least.

Do you have pictures of it?

It's strange how much they advertise that color, and worse, how many they make in it! It's so weird! But then, Murano buyers aren't exactly normal. I can't say I've ever seen the color on the Sentra, though.

Flames. You need lots of flames. On the hood, on the sides, even the rotors. Yep, paint the rotors. Hell, while your at it, paint the pads too.

And then, stickers. Lot's and lot's of stickers. We all know stickers are cool.

Ever thought about a two tone color scheme?

:D

Not yet, I'll have to do that sometimes soon. I'm not really a picture kind of guy, heck I don't even have a camera. It's been raining like hell lately, not really the best time to snap pictures outside. Picture a stock, black S2000 with red seats, and you're there. ;)

Ever thought about a two tone color scheme?

A friend of mine suggested dark green with wood pattern stickers running along the sides...

Besides, it's already three tone! Teal, black and... rust.

If you can get a nice coat of black on it, it would like really nice. 👍. So how does the S2000 run, PunkRock?

Ok, I can't find any damn pictures of this truck, so this is knda pointless.

Anyway, on "Trucks TV" that airs on TBS/Spike TV, they are doing a Chevy C-10 project entitled "Project Copperhead."
The paint that's on the truck is a brilliant shade of copper. It's really nice and could give you an idea for a direction you could take with your CRX.

Sorry about no pics of it. :(

See if you can catch an episode of it. Check your local listings. :) www.truckstv.com

I've seen the show numerous times on SpikeTV, I think this color's from the actual Copperhead concept Dodge put out a bunch of years ago (remember GT and GT2?)

These burnt orange colors are all great, It's so difficult to choose only one. I could do what VW did with some Golf IIIs (Harlequin edition, ever seen those?), paint each panel a different color...

That was a real car? I've seen like four driving around and I always thought that it was the same one with different license plates and a hippy for an owner. I guess I'm wrong. :(

If you are thinking about a metallic gray, look no further than BMW Steel Gray Metallic. In person, this color has a lot of presence. Classy, but tough.

I think this is the color.

Championship White would probably look awesome as well.

No more 'luudes for you.

I like the idea of some "non-descript" color.
Or a "slow car" color. Like beige (Nicolas Cage to Sean Connery:"...I own a Volvo, a beige one...")

Well, it seems I've found my color. Or rather, my girlfriend did. And I had the answer about a foot from where I am seated...

Titanium Gray. They got the color of the model surprisingly close to that of the real thing.
