Today is my birthday,, tomorrow is my senior recognition, and I graduate next week. And after that, I need to find a summer job before I go off to community college.
By the way: I'm not going to prom.

You should go to the prom, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Being schooled in England my school didn't have a prom. They hired a bar and a DJ and told the staff not to serve us (students) booze. It was really dull until a friend of mine pulled out a bog of....... let's call them things that start with E and the party really took off.
I'm sure there are plenty of summer jobs to be found on the web. Many of them offer the opportunity to travel abroad as well which could be a bonus.

I would go to prom, if the people there weren't just the worst kids, I've ever met. They just don't know respect. We had a mock crash yesterday, but they didn't crash the cars. My school is horrible. At least you had something to do. And thanks.

The mock crash was for the don't drink and drive "slogan." It's to show what happens when there are drunk drivers and people distracted whilst driving. Years before me have physically crashed two cars together, but my year, everyone acted out, badly, what would happen, including call the cops, who were real, but acted as well, in this situation. But, the cars were already crashed, and there was a hearse, as well. It wasn't very good or accurate. The officers and such were accurate, but the people involved didn't seem real, even though I've never seen or been in an accident.

Happy Birthday dude,

I will say that I think you should go to prom, even if you despise the people there, your not really going to ever have the opportunity again to attend prom so I would make the most of it.

Reason I say this is I was expelled from my school 3 weeks prior to final exams & Formal (aus version of prom) and it really got to me that I wasnt able to go & be with my friends and whatnot.

Didnt stop me booking a hotel room and doing what Shem^^ did with all my mates afterwards.
