I've got a serious " NASCAR " problem

...im online searching for a room..
boom ..found one i enter ... ( daytona track )
select my car ( the Red Target car to be exact ) ..
the host starts the race ..
its time ..we have a rolling start 3, 2, 1, go..

my car stays at pace car speed !!!!!!!!!!

while everyone else passes me..
i actually have to quickly move
off track so i dont become something to complain about
( know what i mean )

i press the gas pedal ( x button ) and i get nothing ...
if i release the pedal it will start slowing down but when i repress it ....
back to pace car speed...

i've got 4 nascars and it does this with all of them..

i need help .. or a new crew cheif..💡

Rolling starts are not working since the latest patch. When the race is counting down at the start, just hit the START button twice (once to pause the game, once to unpause the game) to have full control of the car at the start of the race. You can do it immediately after the start, too, if you forget, but you risk losing the pack at the start.

This is the only known workaround besides switching to grid start, but grid starts can be even messier.

FYI, this issue will also appear on Indy with rolling starts.
