Just got GT-One race car and 787B, I upgraded turbo on those cars inmmediately, then I realized that if I have tune up any part, I won't be eligible to participate in Polyphony cup. Darn it was too late.

So what do you suggest to use which car besides those 2? What if I race like the wind again, will it give me another 787B? I was so stupid.

The 787B isn't usable for the Polyphony Digital cup as it's a race car, not a road car.

You can win the 787B twice, for 75% and for the Mistral race (the long prof. Test Track race)

GT-One race car is not allowed either. See, ya diden't mess up. You need a good road car for this race, do a search in this forum, thers alot of info on this race.

I think you can use the Speed12 for this one  you don't need to tune that beast and it's a road car ;)

You didn't mess up. First of all, you can't use race cars in the Polyphony Digital Cup anyway. Second of all, if you could use race cars, you would be able to take those upgrades off the car and it would become "stock" again. There are only a few upgrades that are permanent once you purchase them: weight reductions, engine balancing, port polish, and bore/stroke up.

Besides, you don't need those cars to win the Polyphony Digital Cup anyway, since you'll mostly be facing cars around the 270-370 horsepower range.

IT's not that bad , you won't be able to use them anyway ... a stock RUF CTR2 is good for that cup (don't buy it! win it!) ... Also i think that the Zonda S is good for that cup , GT-one road car , Tommy kaira ZZII , Jaguar XJ220 ( i think it might be good , but it's damn expensive , and i don't remind if you can win the road one anywhere) , aston martin vanquish , Speed 12 ... Anyway i don't remember but can you use the "tuned" cars like mine's or nismo cars? IF yes then the mines 627 hp skyline will be nice , i just don't remember honestly...

You can't use Racing cars for this but if you have normal Road Car and you fully did it up, go to change parts under setup and take all the racing parts off and use standard!

I used the Toyota GT-One Road Car

well the GT-ONE Road Car is the best choice.
Not yet for me though cos I cant get the pissin "S" licence, damn stupid licence who invented it!

GT-One Road Car all the way. The PD Cup is a breeze with that. You can also use the Corvette Z06, Nissan Z, Mazda RX-8, and the R390 Road Car. Just remember to change your oil before starting the series, and get super slick tires for it. You can do that without being disqualified for having a "tuned" car. Good luck, the prize is great!! :burnout:

This race is called Like The Wind and you need the S license and a really quick car to win it.

For the Polyphony Digital cup, I used an Aston Martin Vanquish with an oil change and SuperSlick tyres. Won every race, and I'm really not that good!

well if you like challenges i suggest you use the viper concept,it is just FUN to drive :)
those others will spoil the races :)

challenge? in the viper concept? HA!! it's only a challenge if you suck :p i mean come on, the fastest car in that race in the Z06, and its got only wut?? 350hp? somfin round there....and the viper concept comes in at 500 right? thats like takin an F1 in the beginners leauge :whip:

Well yes... but if you're using the race versions of the Big 3 (Race R390, Race GT-1, and the 787B, which only comes in racing form), then even if you turn off everything, they're still considered "race" cars, and thus are modified.

Yup.... no matter what ya do ya cannot use em for them races anyhow... However, the R390 road car rocks for the PD Cup and Trial Mount enduro.

The Mistral's a wind, isn't it?

I wonder where I got that from.

If you want a close race in the PD cup you should use something of simmilar speck. I have won it in an RX7-RZ and an NSX Type R. Although with those cars youl have to be reaaaaaaal good to win every race.
