the idea of Jags, but the reality is they lack the build integrity the Germans take for granted. A mate of mine had one recently and he had
sooo much trouble with it, doors not opening, starting problems, gearbox failure etc. We'd warned him: "old Jags can be trouble..." but he didn't listen...
I remember when the XJ40 model first came out (1986), I was selling Renaults at the time, and the Sales Manager brought one round for us all to drive, so we could compare it with our topline Renault 25s (as if they were competition...
