I saw this on the news today and saw both 5m long sharks being followed/hunted after eating an 18 year old lad as an early christmas dinner :indiff: apparently they cant decide whether they should be terminated as it's just the animal instinct and survival is survival

... Yeah! ... lets all love the great white and sacrifice a kid each to keep them fed this christmas :dunce: 👍

Give a shark a kid and he can feed himself for Christmas. Give a shark a beach and he can feed himself for the rest of his life.

On a more serious note, I say "Kill the shark!!!"

This has happened in Adelaide where I live, It happened at west beach which is not far from me and I swim there often. This year there have been alot of white pointer sharks getting around as big as boats. (like Jaws)

I really can't see the point of killing the shark. The sharks doing what it has to do to survive. It's unfortunate that it was a human that was killed, but I can't see the point of killing every shark that kills someone. Also, how do they tell which shark killed him?

Lucky I don't swim at West Beach. Only skateboard at the skate park. I wonder what he was doing surfing out there. The waves arnt that good anyways.:odd:

The sharks have plenty to eat, in SA there is nothing that threatens them.

They only take out the sharks that are hanging around the swiming areas. Our beaches are popular swimming spots and lately most people are scared to go swimming. It was two sharks that killed the 18 year old, and many very large sharks have been spotted circling around beaches lately.
I dont like killing things, I would prefer them to catch and release them somewhere else, which I dont think they can. So we havent much other choice exept stop going to the beach and that isnt going to happen.
