Do you know your Japanese car's JDM name? Then post it here like so:

My car
Mazda 3 - Mazda Axela

How can you find? My Corolla I think is called the same over there, maybe pronounced "Cololla" though.

Nissan 200SX SE (B14) - Nissan Lucino

Well, at least with the latter name, it's not lying about itsself...

Nissan Skyline 350GT

Nissan 180sx. Except it has a better motor, so not technically the same car..

Lexus ES300 - Toyota Windom

Dad: Acura NSX - Honda NSX :D

Lancaster. (Was the Outback sedan sold in Japan?)

Toyota Tundra. I'm pretty sure the Tundra was never sold in Japan so it doesn't have a JDM name. So... Toyota Super-Hilux or something?

Nissan Skyline GXE (R31) - N/A (RB30E-powered Skylines were only sold in Australia and South Africa).

Suzuki Sierra - Suzuki Jimny.

Well, the BMW 525 is pretty much a 525 wherever it is.. I only know one person with a Japanese car, which is my mum, so

UK: Toyota Paseo, JDM: Toyota Cynos

Horrible car too!

Mazda6: Mazda Atenza.

I prefer Atenza but then I don't. Iunno.

I think the two cars I'm smooshing together win for "most names".

EU/JPN/NAM: Mazda MX-3
JPN: Eunos Presso, AutoZam AZ-3
JPN/AUS: Eunos 30X
NAM: Mazda Precidia

EU: Mazda Xedos 9
JPN: Amati 500/Eunos 800
NAM: Mazda Millenia

Subaru Liberty - Subaru Legacy

Australia is the only place to call the Legacy a Liberty out or respect for the veteran organisation Legacy Australia.

Toyota Kluger (that's also its name in Japan) is called a Highlander everywhere else, including New Zealand. Highlander is trademarked by Hyundai in Aus/Japan.

Those are the two main differences I saw coming from NZ to Australia, and it kind of ties in to the topic.

Anyway, mines got the same name :) Celica GT-Four (Although its called a Celica All-Trac in America)

Thats a few names, weird isn't it? I'm used to seeing the Japanese names as NZ have pretty loose Japanese Vehicle import laws so they are everywhere (cheap too...I miss that :( )
