I've been gone for a bit, had to get life somewhat straightened out.

Everything's getting close to an even keel, so that's good. I've managed a total of three laps around midfield in the past three weeks.

However, This week I'm hoping to put a few more down. AFter all, I'd hate this to go to waste. Please excuse the poor wire management.

Damn buddy, first off, it's great to see that you managed to get in here for a few minutes.

I'm glad to hear you're working through your troubles.

However, that set is bad as man!

Dang man, that is nice without a doubt.

Im on a tv that's about as old as I am, and about 24 inches wide. (22 inches of screen.)

But that's just guessing.

I notice you have it setup with something under it... I'm guessing that is part of the tv?

I can say now, that can make all the difference.

I had my tv sitting on a little table/cabinet and it looked alright, but I got a tv stand that proped it up by about another 6-8 inches and now the thing looks huge.

But yeah, glad to see you back and around for a few... also glad you're doing alright.

And of course, jealous, that I am. :D

That fishtank looks awesome indeed... oh you mean the TV, yeah that's great too. ;)
Seriously, that's a sweet set-up you got there.
 
THose are Inifinity Overture 1 speakers. Small but amazingly powerful, with a 10" sub built in the side. On top of the TV is an Infinity CC3 center channel. The rear speakers are Infinity RS4's and the Sub is from Velodyne. All routed through an Onkyo Reciever. Yep, I can move the floor.

The TV is a Panasonic 47" HD ready system.

And yes, I'm jealous Famine.

The Tank is a 46Gallon Bow front Reef Tank. I'll have to refer you to the missus for any info on that.

That just makes me jealous, DA. Now I'm really itching to acquaint you with my parents; if only to play GT on that! *drools*
 
Well, I'd hate to say that I have much better, but it's all in part to my parents cashola. We have a 65" widescreen with inwall 7.1 dolby surround by a custom stereo specialist. It's a pretty sick setup for GT and I'd like to say that it's over the top, but still fun to play.

I'm certainly glad to see your working out problems in life, and playing video games is never a negative. :D So, ya know what, have a great day and party hardy! :D
 
Hey I have a TV exactly like yours, Der_Alta!


Except it's 20 inches smaller....

And it's not HD ready.

And the things a pain to carry around. :grumpy:
 
Yes. Envious indeed. The bad wire management seems to be a standard symptom of being too excited to use it to finish setting it up properly. Been there.

I plan to have a new TV in about six months. We're having a new house built and that will be one new addition, a 42" HD plasma display. Gives me goosebumps to think about it.

BTW, this is your opportunity to test your theory on how "wide" the cars feels in GT3 on a widescreen. :) (Remember?)
 
No. My wiring skills is worse. I never fixed it, since moving my stuff back in. It looks like a spaghetti factory exploded behind, and next to, the HDTV set.

Your room looks a lot like my room, but I don't have a fish tank. I have a jumbo sized blue and silver Lava Lamp.

I auditioned those Infinity speakers, before. Not bad, but not loud enough. I had a pair of their Studio Monitors, the 10" two-ways, but I had tweeter problems with them.
 
Eh, mine looks like that but I've got the GTForce pro wheel hooked up too.
