Hi everyone. Finally picked up my copy of gt5 the other night after getting my ps3 fixed. Haven't touched the console for a whole year. The last game i played was GTAIV, god knows how long ago that was.

I'm not particularly impressed with GT5's photomode interface, but the results are much nicer than GT4 that's for sure.

As grrlpurple said; great photos 👍

Yays your back! And some good shots to start off with. 👍

Hate whoring myself like this, but it'd be cool if you check mine out sometime...I started mine not too long ago...

My favourite has to be number 1.

Awesome photos, JGDA9RS! Those Benz photos are fantastic!

Welcome back Adrian! Great start to the gallery.

thanks guys :D sorry about the saloon pictures. these happen to be what i started with after i got the eg civic. this M5 i'm posting right now is sort of what's been my main car.
i have recently upgraded it with matt paint, wheels and performance upgrades. i love it!
it sounds so mean. just thought i'd start with the 'before' shots. i'll update with the upgraded paint job later on..

click for larger image.. don't worry polaroid display stops here :D

and yes, it's sure great to be back with all you guys! it'll be like the old times.

That M5 looks awesome. Great picture as well.

That's a great angle of the C63 (the rear). That whole shot looks very clean, but not too clean.

Great start! Is that C63 matte black? It looks really nice. The M Coupe looks great in white too, I might have to buy one of my own.

The last 2 AMG shots are great, the front shot is my favourit, the straight lines on it make it verry cool.

Welcome Adrian, glad you finally joined in the fun.
A great car to start things off with too. The c63 is a great car. 1st and third shots are just something else! I love the smoky foggy effect. Looks like my SLS shot, but I think yours is better. And the tones in the third are just sick. Great start!

thanks guys. quite glad to be back here actually. it's like a huge reunion right now.

@ Revolution : The C63 was actually a matte silver mettalic of some kind.. can't remember. i dont have the palette anymore since i've used it on the m5, and i've
painted the C63 a mettalic blue.

here's my next upate. i was surprised to get a premium version of this EK Civic.
i've also included some shots of the newest civic type R sedan and some other randoms..

click for fullsize :D

i love this place!

I did some layer masking for this particular piece. Wish GT5's photomode gave us the option of having the shutter as low as 2 sec. or even a bulb mode would be cool
for the photomode, instead of just having the 1" shutter available in phototravel. i think it would make for bigger possibilities.

BMW M3
bit of zoom blur here. It might just be me, but i can kind of see an angel form between the emblem and the grill panel, and the headlights..

that's all for now.. I think this is the biggest update I've done in such a long time. wondering what the old timers like me have been up to recently before gt5 came along?

Why have I missed this gallery some stunning stuff here.

They are all pretty amazing, my favorite being the angelbird. It's not common to see an abstract shot, even less frequent a very good one. 👍

Also I have to agree, a shutter as low as 2 sec or even button press shutter - shutter will stay open as long as you keep the X button pressed (don't know the actual name of it) - would be awesome and would bring immense possibilities.

Loving the bottom two very much indeed. 👍

you have some pretty good stuff in here already- I'm pretty new to the forum so I won't have seen any of your previous stuff, but if this is what you can do in the first few days of owning GT5, I can't wait to see what you pull out in future!

I like the M Coupe shot, it has a nice vibe to it

Fantastic stuff! My favourites is the first one and the forth shot.

thanks guys :D

here's what used to be my entry for the photomode competitions week 12 contest.
i changed it to a different one though. but i just thought this one looks better with
a bit of editing since the colors pop out more. I included the rest of the pictures as well. That Redbull hangar location is really good in my books.

Wow nice gallery! :D Like the plane shot. 👍

thanks guys. here's some shots of my 458 Italia. such a lovely
car. i wonder if it's safe to say that it's Ferrari's replacement for the classic
512 TR. for this update, i'm not too keen on the filters that gt5 has added
for the photomode, but i like the idea of the miniature filter... but
for some i just applied the effect myself and got better results.

That bottom one is fantastic!

I'm liking the Maserati snaps too. :) 👍

Nice 458 shots. The second one truly looks like a scale model. The last one is fantastic with the way you've literally framed it:)

This last 458 is... I don't know... supernatural! Reminds me of some good japan artworks of late 90s... a good photo to print!

thanks guys :) I agree with moglet about the second shot. it does look like a
model car from that angle.

Now on to my manipulated image of a Mini Cooper shot in Toscana.
I took the shot when i was doing the Gran Turismo Rallye special
challenge. this was for the beginner stage, and this mini was actually
one of the opponent cars. I have some shots of my RM Spec C, but
that's for another time :) just did some channel masking for this picture..

Also included is my RS6 that was shot at SSR 7.

PS: the sunset sky background is actually a film scan of a picture i took here in
Vancouver with a Zeiss Ikon 35mm camera :D

similar background picture from the same roll of film could be found here, though it's on a
vertical composition
..

updated, took out the plane.
