It's a peach of a car to drive, honestly, you'll fall in love with it. It doesn't seem to have some of the 'Oomph' of the other cars, maybe doesn't get out of corners as quickly, but it's very neutral handling and wears tires evenly ... very forgiving and hard to spin out. There are 3 of us in the Garaiya now, so it should make for some interesting rivalry ;)
 
He hasn't replied to my PM so there's nothing I can do at the moment. Why do you have to be so up tight about it?

It's already happened. :)

Took it for a quick spin and was very impressed with the easy, forgiving handling. I did a back-to-back test with the Cusco Impreza and was .5 second quicker in the Garaiya at Tsukuba.

I am most chuffed with this car, it should be fun.

Now all I need is a teammate and that snazzy name.

If you aren't in the entrants list you just can't race.
 
How about if I come up with a name and team info for now and PM it to you, and if my teammate wants to change his number maybe he could do that.
 
Is there anyone else currently waiting for a position or teammate that you know of?
 
check the waiting list, r34jse hardly ever comes on, he isnt a hardcore GTPer like us, ill talk to him next time I see him.
 
You could bump iceman up to GT500 using r34jse's ride or one of the NSXs still left. That would still leave one team slot but at least we wouldn't have single racers left over.

I'd be happy with that. I've got a banked slow quali time for this week if iceman wants to run.
 
I'd rather stay in GT300, as I've already spent some time on the qualification and got what I think is a very nice time. However, if it is impossible for you to move to gt500 I will do that.
 
I'm happy to move to GT500 if you don't want to; faster is always better. :) But I think it would be rather strange to have the faster driver (one who collects Div1 podiums in the WRS) in 300 while the slower (Top 5 Div2 driver) takes the 500 ride.

Do you want me to run in GT500 until the end of the season and then swap for series 2? I definitely want the Garaiya if I run in GT300.

Why don't we leave it up to you eatsviper4lunch? I think icemanshooter and I are happy to form a team, so which one of us do you want in GT500?

I'd be perfectly happy with that VTracing. Next season I would definitely go to GT500 and you could swap places with me. With only 4 races left it's not like we're going to cause a huge uproar in the stats anyways.
 
Looks like I've been promoted to GT500 for the last four races of the season (I feel like Jacques Villeneuve!)

Icemanshooter23 and VTRacing creating a formidable team with VTRacing hopping aboard the Honda Mobil 1 NSX '01 in the GT500 class and icemanshooter in the Toyota Wedsport Celica tackling GT300.

Assuming this meets with official approval we should be up and running for this weeks race.

Unfortunately this means I don't get to drive the Garaiya for a little while (sorry Koly :( )

Anyway, there's 3 spots left if you're interested to fill in. One is already a team with a single driver waiting for a partner in GT500. The other two spots are for a new full team.
