Y/w nah, I have sometin wrong with my central nervous system,no doc can figure it out. I get dizzy spells (REAL bad ones),at times,and I have even passed out from it. I have to take blood pressure medicine(not from High blood pressure,but its a beta blocker,and keeps me from getting dizzy),it helps and I guess I have to be on it from now on. Its nothing serious I guess,its been like that for a long while now.

I have had an ear infection before that causes what you are talking about,its not pleasant!

Get better,man!:)

havent had time to get on here,so had a good run at it the other day.
 
9 missing is unusual, I grant you ... I haven't heard from DLR for over a week now, and it used to be daily, and small_fryz is normally more vocal around here, but he's been kinda low, too.

Personally, and this is just IMHO, this is just a qualifier ... we can miss a few drivers from here ... but maybe reminders need to be sent out in time for the race? And then maybe a warning that 2 missed qualifiers and the car will be thrown open to other drivers?

Alright guys please let me know, should we stop all of this and close down the series? Aside from Soyfu and kennythebomb with valid reasons what the fawk is going on with the others? I have 5 freaking times in the GT500 class, does that sound like something acceptable to you?

So what's the decision now?

For future reference I will add penalty times for not submitting your qualif time to your final race time.

Minimum will be 10 secs and max 30 secs. What do you vote for?
 
I'm putting up the Round 3 race thread for now, tomorrow I'm coming back home around 5:00PM and will then post the Qualif results. If you're one of those smartass I haven't received a time from well it's your chance to wake up and send something before I get home.
 
Could be also just cause of 4th. Know alot of people do take extra time off for the summer events. But I like the idea of the 1 sec per lap idea.

<~~ Looks over to the Blind Sweatshop Kittens garage area, and ponders if MR8's car looks like it been used this trip.......
 
Don't think it so much somethign like your situation Kenny.. think it more that when someone doesn't say ANYTHING that really is tweaking Eatsviper4allmeals
 
hotboi's and MR8's time are both in :) Hell if you want I'll put the list right here of who's missing, Soyfu I already knew and kenny told us before deadline also...the rest are all clues.

you should be alright,kenny....I think viper understands your situation.

as for me, I had to quit doing what I WAS doing at my old job because of it (I used to have to be on a machine at like 60- 80 feet in the air),but everything else, i am used to it now,so it doesnt really affect anything else.I just had to get used to the fact that it was like that all the time.Thats why I cant ever be a pilot...somthing I was trying to do...get my Pilots license:ouch:

Definatly keep it going in my opinion, I'm having fun with it, and I'm not alone there 👍
Drivers not submitting times was bound to happen, (though todays numbers are pretty bad) the idea of incurring a time penalty is fine with me, though 30 secs may be a bit tough.
Hang in there eatsviper4, im sure it will work out , as long as your enjoying it, thats the main thing.

In the race resusts you can put all not qualified drivers behind the qualified ones :trouble:
 
Hey all,

My sincerest apologies to all, especially Ev0 and viper, for not submitting a qualy time, and for not giving a reason until now. Unfortunately I cannot go into my reason on an open board right now, but I have PM'd viper and Ev0 to keep them informed. Suffice it to say that this was big and unexpected. I hope you all understand.

Unfortunately it seems this happened on the wrong week, as many others seem to have disappeared during qualy :( I assure you all I will have time to run the race this week, but since I was only sacrificing a maximum of 3 points for my team I thought I could afford to miss 1 qualy.

I'm feeling like s**t today so I'm not at work. I will try to put in a run before the extended deadline of 5pm (viper time) but under the circumstances I cannot make any promises.

Sorry again guys! :(
 
I don't see it as reason enough to stop everything. You don't actually lose anything for not posting a qualifying time. we don't have a real starting grid where a submitted quali time would put you in better position to win the race, nor do we start at the rear with an unsubmitted quali time. As long as people are running the races everything should be considered good. Life happens, this is a computer game, and we all have our prioritities. In fact, I know myself and a lot of other people make great sacrifices to be a part of things like this.
 
How about to simulate those who miss qualification starting behind those who did, give them a time penalty of the slowest qualification + 5/10 seconds?

Penalty for not sending in a qualification time is now final at 10 secs added to your race time. This will be in effect for Round 4.

Oh and people notifying me before the deadline (hours before, not 5 mins before) that they can't run the qualif with a reason why won't get a penalty, only the people disappearing and not saying a single word will.

See you can still miss a qualif I don't mind, but it's YOUR responsability to PM me and tell me why. Simple as that.

Seriously, he creamed me like I was just a rookie wannabe driver. :guilty: Congrats Rob, you had your time of glory and it's over real soon. :p

Ive been very busy getting housing info together for college and I simply lost track of time. My expectations this week are not as high because this track and I do not get along.

But I have already begun practicing at Tokyo and Grand valley and I really want to make a good showing at those tracks.

Nope you don't get anything for R3, the system will be in place for R4 Qualif. :) See how good I am and all the chances I give you guys.

As i can see penalties started to event out the field - only +0,4~~ to hot6o4bOi :) :P and the best is that i have seen at least -0,3 on my lap but couldnt run it longer ;)
Tyre strategy may decide...

Wow, more than half the GT500 field doesn't show up, and we have the tightest qualifying session yet! I'm trilled to finally score some points in qualifying. Congrats to everyone who made the effort to actually submit a time, and to my teammate Zeratul for his great lap.
