JGTC S1 Round 6 Race + Results

I wont be able to post my time this week. STUPID WEDDING PISS :mad:

that makes sense kind of, wouldn't it just be easier not to use the same tires front and rear and not have so much more understeer and just pit a few laps earlier? I don't know I guess I see the idea but I think starting with new tires and having good balance that will slightly fade to more understeer and pitting sooner would be quicker than starting with more understeer that will continue to get worse but staying out for longer.

3) I pit later and save some time with 1 less pit 👍

Well, I actually did but wanted to get a proper time wich I didnt get the first time :dunce: Then I forget about the wedding and today's stuff. :guilty:

Well no, even if the tires heat up and wear at the same rate, the softer compound will provide slightly more grip at equivalent temp/wear. But I know what you mean, I'm in viper's boat 👍

@Cosmic: submit your slow time then, better than submitting nothing!

Time submitted, good luck to everyone. Man I love this track, it has a little bit of everything. I managed to stay out for 6 laps on RM/RS (RX-7 burns front tires faster) and 9 laps on RH/RM. I think the weight penalty is gonna hurt me this week, as qualy showed :irked:

i love the 50 min race distances, sure puts up a challenge... but for me to find the time week-in-week-out isnt gonna work

so farewell, just handed you the championship veil~

No worries hot.

There's been a death in the family ... 15 minutes ago ... so I dare say that racing is going to be .... inappropriate. I'll be dropping out of the championship also ... I'll be missing the race this evening and will not be able to qualify for the next race, so dropping out is the right thing to do.

but that´s ok, i can understand you perfectly now as im working too and sometimes i can´t just play, its a **** yea i know. Im lucky also because i´ve got some vacation at work, otherwhise i wouldn´t even had done a race, due to lack of time.
 
ALso did my time, not a perfect race but that was a good race. Lost some 8 seconds with an AI fight for position, it made me spin but overall just 4 seconds i guess, few few mistakes. Im not that optimistic for a win this week as my car seems not that much competitive, but i wanna place a podium at least. :)
 
Took a risk and went Racing hard all around for the whole event! Hopefully the lack of in pit time makes up for my crappy laps.
 
Race submitted. Overall I did some really nice laps but I had 3 forced pit entries :ouch:. I won't be expecting a podium with that :indiff:.
 
bad news....i went to turn my ps2 on at around 10ish and it would not turn on...i know i shouldn't of waited till last minute but i've been really busy with lawyer meetings and i have court soon, i tried my best to pop it open but i could not fix it....ill have to pick up a new one tomorrow....im really sorry guys, and i apologize soyfu, i let you down bro and im very sorry for that. Again im really sorry guys, my nephew was playing on it thursday night, and didnt turn off the ps2, so i guess it burn out...i have it in a cabinet and it closes up pretty damn well to the point air only gets in through the little hole you snake the cables through in the back...he shut the door...i went to open it today and it smelled funny, burnt plastic, and the thing doesn't boot.....oh well :indiff: now i have to spend car money on a new ps.... :crazy: :ouch: :ouch: :ouch: again....im sorry for this guys

Time submitted, at 11:30 p.m. Sunday night as usual.

Not confident at all on this one. Despite my confidence after qualifying, the car just felt like it did not want to go where I wanted it to. Felt like there was no grip at all. I did the first race with one tire set and one pit strategy, then tried a completely different strategy and gained only five seconds. Which tells me I wasn't fast enough either time.

Sorry to hear about hOt6o4bOi and Kolyana (my condolences to you and your family) dropping out. We'll miss you both.
 
Going to turn in my time in just a bit, watching the vid for fast lap time. Ran 1 last run just to see how good the first time was, missed it by .5 of a second :crazy: .

Not really expecting to be on top this week so will take what i can get.

Like others here, I'm not too happy with my time. I just couldn't find the rhythm I had at Tsukuba. Oh well, we shall see how it goes.

I would echo Mulsanne's comments and offer my condolences to Kolyana. Hope to see you back racing soon.
 
I need someone to fill in for kenny in round 7. Anyone want to help?
 
vistory! got screwed again, did one more pit stop than what I was suppose to do with the tire combo I was using, so I guess close to 30 secs could have been saved with a DFP...easy
 
There was some bull**** this week in the times I received, but right now I'm not in the mood to argue so I don't care, anyway you probably know who you are.

Interesting to see how close we all are despite what appear to be wildly different pit strategies. Huge differences in the fastest laps for people.

I'm interested to find out everyone's pit strategy; I ran RM on the front RH on the back, 6 lap stints with a splash of fuel to get me to the finish. Average laptime was around the 1'45 mark, with a few silly spins included.
 
I used RM-RS the entire race but because I'm a dumbfawk and couldn't do 6 laps on those and only did 5 (front tires red like hell) I had to pit 5 times when I should of done 4 like you in reality. Sorry ZeratulSG for not been a challenge this week. :guilty:
 
WTF no way he ran a 58'28 he'd have to have an extra 50 HP, i am seriously pissed off that win was mine, i bet it was a 59'28 not a 58. :mad:

i am just so mad right now i don't know if that was directed at me or him. :sly: :p i want him to prove that time take a pic of the replay which should have been saved in which it shows the time and the beginning where it shows the HP.
