You two WedsSport drivers are tearing up the GT300 class so you'll race with 278hp until the end from now on. :sly: No crying now. :p

i feel fat... and slow now...

scary supras, now they are going to get us... :scared:

Woohoo the diet paid off, should be a little easier this week. Although at the upcoming faster tracks I'm a bit worried about being outgunned in hp. It'll all be good though :sly:

Hopefully will continue my good run in qualifying :)

Heh, wasn't the attack of the Supras supposed to be last week as well? Bah, we'll get you this time. That -5 weight should benefit me nicely. :D

Woohoo, I've lost some weight! Maybe this'll help balance things out. I'm not usually this slow, honest, ask DRIVEN -USA- :D

Seriously though, good luck to everyone. Tokyo is a pretty technical track, often some surprising outcomes. My little Skyline is growing on me, she has a nasty tail kick if you don't treat her right, but a little caress in the right place brings her back in line ;)

Hopefully I can organize a DFP sometime this week

I ran a few laps last night, and this course is practically flat out for us GT300 guys!!! There are a few corners which require slight braking and throttle control, but this is an all out track like HSR should be next week!!! Not to mention, orange/red tires may cause some havoc this week w/ some tight, narrow areas and walls everywhere!!!

Good luck to everyone. The straights will kill you if you don’t exit the corners fast enough!!

@EV4L….I can sense some good results from my side, after a couple of mediocre performances!!!

Tokyo! Cool! Finally a track without bumps! I'll be having my first run at this tonight hopefully. I'm thinking that this track will suit my car very well.....

hey, i had +3 weight for round 2 and i won, so shouldn´t be +7 instead of +8?

just tested some of the cars...

oh my god, if i complained about my ride before, imagine now :grumpy:

the good news is that the pole time from last season will be hopelessly crushed this time... i know because i already have a lower time... with the woodone supra... the bad news, and they are very bad for me, is that my car is more than 2 seconds slower than the time i set with the supra..., in fact, he is 1´5 slower than all the 6 cars i tested...

i´m already looking foward a weight reduction next round

btw, what´s with that pitwork z? i mean, it keeps gaining weight, and STILL can keep up with the fast cars... also look for a NSX comeback this round...

back with more if i can find a magic solution for my car :grumpy:

.... I'm not really concerned about that little drop in horsepower, but the amount of weight the floor of my car will be able to carry. :p

Looking at the qualifying times from last season for GT300, my time is a bit off the pace, but is certainly expected. I hope the pace from last season's race here doesn't inprove, cause I'm screwed then. :scared:

Good luck fellow JGTC'rs. :)

R2 race GT500 = 10 times

+5
+4
+3
+2
+1
-1
-2
-3
-4
-5

And are you testing the cars with their current weight they're at in the season (with the penalties) or with the default weight? It's pretty damm normal that the WoodOne will destroy your ass if he's at -5% and you at +8%.

lol stop the crying now...geez the guy is first in GT500 and still not happy  kids these days I'm telling you

oh, ok, my fault...

i´m glad the limit is 10%

in other note, yes, i was testing with the current -5 weight... looks scary, just try it... well, maybe a solid race can give me a little hope... after all i have to defend a 7 point lead in the table :trouble:

I never even thought about checking last year's times, since I didn't race last season. As of right now my lap is about .2 off of what I want, and a little more off of last season's qualifying.

Yeah I just noticed that too...hmmm...

its not like i gave up on this, but i´m running to get nowhere...

i´m way off last season´s times...

hopefully i´ll have a descent weight for laguna in round 5 (i feel HRS will also punish me).

still, i have another 0´3 that i want to get, just to have a descent time in...

btw, VTracing, what did you think about my ride this week? 💡

What did you think about ride last week?

Or this week in race conditions?

Sure, this week your car is heavy and slow but the whole point of having a weight penalty system is so that it becomes impossible for drivers to keep winning. It's about doing the best job you can with the car you have.

Unfortunately for me, we don't have a tyre wear parameter included in the handicapping.

Well I've submitted my time...feels like I'm on the edge but not sure it's gonna stack up :indiff:

I'm personally pretty happy with my time at the moment but after looking at last seasons times i'm not so sure:indiff: Going to try to get another run in before the deadline hopefully i can improve my time.

There, my times are in, but I don't think they are near fast enough. All I can do now is hope for the best.

things got a little worst, my best lap saved was dirty, so i had to make a lap ASAP just to get a valid time... 0´5 slower, and more than 2 seconds off the pole, but hopefully the race will be better...

You should be happy in a way, perhaps you'll have a weight diet for R4. :sly:

Time submitted, I got in about 20 laps today, I hope my time's OK. I'm glad for the weight reduction, but my Supra gets a little more loose in the corners than usual. :scared:

Time sent. Did my best. Hope it's enough for a good result while I'm on low weight. Tried several cars and did a better drive with thr RX-8. My bet would go to that one.
