JGTC S2 Round 6 Race + Results

Just submitted times, got real lucky with drafting at just the right places. Beat the Mugen by over 45 seconds,3 pits. I'll probably gain some weight for Christmas. Good Luck y'all.
 
pulled off a 1 stopper

pitted on lap 22 ~ had to do around 4 laps on dying tires
 
:dunce: <<party hat :cheers: Finally ran a clean race. Man what a bugger this track is. Simple layout but has some hard parts in it too, hard to keep your car on the track on those high speed sweepers.

Stuipd phone cost me a penalty late in the race, would of won it too :(
 
Fawking christ I got a phone call this morning from a member of my family telling me one of my cousin died in a face to face car crash on December 25th. Let's just say worst Christmas ever.

0.5 secs ahead of 3rd. That was close....

I guess my wheight gain will now take me out of the podium until the end.

When I started, I wouldn't even think about results so close to the top...

Thanks Nuvolari, tell Chief I only spoke of pits stops, not the secret weapon he devised. Great strategy though, I'm sure it's worth lots of weight. Looks like you'll be getting some weight also.

Good to go on a diet again. :) What track are we at this week?

Should you take a week or two long break from this series EV4L? The time off from petty things like this could do you well.
 
The plan was already to take one week off until the 2nd (Monday). So we're off until then but I'll still post the R7 Qualif thread probably tomorrow.

Nice run VTR.. if I had time would of rerun mine with the slamming into the wall I had from the pause cause of a phone call I got, but was running out of time. :(

How soon will the Qualify thread be up for Race 6, I may be able to take my PS2 with me to my In-Laws house and run the race there. unfortunately, i'm forced to withdraw, my ps2 has stopped working all together now, and i wont be getting a new one for a while

its been fun while it lasted, hopefully back for next season...

good luck to everyone, though i wont beable to participate, will still keep an eye on this :)

lucky for me i've got GTL to tide my racing cravings
